Emsam has been a miracle drug for me. I respond very well to mao inhibitors and they served me well for many years but after 7 years a developed a type of rheumatoid arthritis so I had to stop taking them.. Emsam is working very well for me but the cost is prohibitive. Just this past month they increased the price by $300.00. If you have health insurance you are not eligible for any assistance. I pay $425.00 per month for my drub plan and health insurance.
