can I take my regular dose of braggs apple cider vinegar while taking methylprednisolone ## Hello, Charlie! How are you? I'm sorry, but natural products aren't evaluated for possible side effects or interactions with prescription medications, so I'm not sure. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Have you tried asking your doctor?

My mother was taking Omeprazole for about a year for her GERD, and she started to develop a severe side effect which is generally unreported - extreme depression. Needless to say I urged her to stop that medication and take a hard look at some natural supplements for her diet. Being at her wit's end, she did some research and came across individuals who had reported supplementing Apple Cider Vinegar (RAW, ORGANIC) into their daily diets, and it had helped to regulate their digestive issues. Has anyone else heard about this? She is taking the Bragg Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar by the way. Truth be told, I am just pleased that she is back to her normal, happy self. ## I was prescribed omeprazole by my Dr for acid reflux and gurd,it worked great til I couldnt afford it.Someone to...

I take Dexilant for GERD (hiatus hernia and acid reflux). Is there a risk in also taking Apple Cider Vinegar while on Dexilant? ## The information available for Apple Cider Vinegar so far does not prove its effectiveness for treating medical conditions. Ref: Apple Cider Vinegar Information That said, there is also the risk of it worsening your GERD, though some people do seem to take it, without ill effect. I tried it for GERD, and gastritis, for me, it just made the pain worse, and I have since decided to stick with using any type of vinegar for cooking, and cleaning. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is I the correct way to take apple cider vinegar for weight loss? I've heard a couple of tablespoons in water before a meal... Is that once a day before dinner or more times a day? Also, I quite often use Optislim shakes for the smaller meals during the day. I am also starting to try Garcinia. How is the best way to use these for maximum effectiveness?? ## Hello Lauralee, Ironically this was a rumor that I heard once upon a time and I spent a large amount of time doing research trying to verify the claim. What I found was that there is little to no scientific data supporting the theory that taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before each meal helps with weight loss. However, in the case studies that I have found it shows that there is no clear indication among the divers...

I have been suffering for 20 long years from (COD) and am getting breathlessness. Have taken Isosorbide Dinitrate and Mononitrate with Metoprolol 50mg, Atenolol 50mg, Amlodipine and Nifedipine alternately for 10 yrs with Aspirin as well. Can I take dinintel and drink apple cider vinegar? ## Hello Monique! How are you? Natural produces, such as the ACV are not tested for possible problems and interactions with medications, as is done with prescription drugs, thus, I don't have this information for you. Have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist? ## I think as long as you're taking the acv in reasonable amounts then you should be okay. Remember that it is made from pressed and fermented apples, and is slightly acidic in ph. In other words, it's natural and is like eating food. There are supposed to be lots of health benefits to taking it regularly, so just remember to follow recommendations for both your med and whatever other dietary supplements you are taking. Like Verwon said, when in doubt just double...

Interaction with an ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) regimant ## Have you consulted your doctor? Though it is often touted to help with various conditions involving excess acid, apple cider vinegar can be harsh and may actually worsen some, such as severe ulcers. And since ACV isn't an actual medication, it hasn't been tested for interactions and side effects, so I really don't know if it would be a problem with the Lansoprazole. What condition are you treating? If you post back with more details, I may be able to find more information for you.

I have been on suboxone 8mg 2 a day for 13 years. I started taking goli apple cider vitamins about a month ago. My problem is my Suboxone quarantine test game back saying I have no Suboxone in my system. I never mentioned to the doctor I started taking Goli. Now I'm going through withdrawal from Suboxone because the doctor thinks I never took my meds and didn't write my prescription for this month. I just took another Suboxone level test yesterday and it gets sent out. I'm asking is the goli messing up my test? I swear I have not taken anything else and I was getting ready to take the new shot available to finally get off Suboxone. I've been trying for years to get off this an I can't do it. The shot looks promising but now I'm stuck because of the test saying I ...

I'm currently taking suboxone. Can I take garcinia cambogia pills for weight loss? I have heard from people on methadone that it pushes them into withdrawal. ## I'm on 3 mlgs of Suboxone. I also want to take Garcina Cambogia and pure apple cider vinegar. Does anyone know if there is any drug interactions with these? Other posts have said that heve gone into withdrawal. Thanks ## Yes it does. Garcia Camborgia made me fail a drug panel for the presence of Buprenorphine. Garcia Cambogia metabolizes the medication out of your system so it’s like you never took the medication. ## Hello Scubalove, I was not able to find a credible source that shows there is an adverse interraction between the two but I have found multiple sources of unsupported discussions and forums that claim ...

As to this medication, unfortunately, I can't speak to the safety of your taking it. Many medications that are prescribed for canines are the same as those prescribed for people, but not all. The pain continues at a greater pace. I have had accupuncture for 3 months. I have used Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother for 6 months. It worked for a while and then less and less. Is there any thing else that I can try? ## Hello, Pete! How are you? What is your current dose of Lyrica? Your doctor may be able to raise it for you. You may also want to ask them about other pain medications, even non-narcotic ones may help give you more relief. ## Since 2/19/2015 my doctor has raise...

I have taken lisinolpril for over a year and my BP just keeps going up and down. I have learned there are many items we drink and eat that interact with lisinolpril. I want to ask my Dr to change me to something else, can anyone advise? ## Hello Charlotte! How are you? How extreme are the fluctuations that you've been experiencing? I have been on Lesinopril 20mg for a little over a year now. I just stopped taking it 4 days ago, trying to go natural on keeping my BP down. the first day I just did yoga each day, ate low calorie food as roasted veggies, and drank smoothies. My daily drinks consisted of Pomegranate juice and a spoon apple cider vinegar diluted with a cup of water. My average BP for the last 3 days was 121/78. Today I started having a severe headache, blurry vision and body ache in general. Is this common when you stop Lisinopril? While I do believe that I can keep my BP down naturally I am suspicious of the side effect of getting rid of this pill.. ## Hello, Rich! How are you? I have taken omeprazole for 18 years. My system and blood tests all seem ok. My son says I should stop and take apple vinegar before each meal to save my liver. ## Hello, Joliver! How are you? Actually, having taken it for that long, the concern isn't your live, but the risks of hip fractures. PPIs are known to cause them with long-term use, as listed by the FDA. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain. However, there is nothing that proves apple cider vinegar to work. Thus, the best thing to do would be to speak to your doctor about your concerns and see what they recommend. Is there anything else I can help with?
