I lost a piece of paper that said what I'm allergic to, I think it's an antibiotic that starts with an M. It it gives me a rash, my back starts to feel itchy, I had to take it for a blood infection. ## Hi igor, Antibiotics starting with "M" include: Meropenem, Mezlocillin, Meticillin, Moxifloxacin, Mafenide, and Minocycline. antibiotic that is related to minocycline but starts with a "s" Is used for acne and is expensive. ## That would be something in the Tetracycline class, but I am not finding anything that begins with an S. Used to treat MRSA ## To treat MRSA, Vancomycin or other antibiotics in the same class are used. Other options may include: Flucloxacillin, Erythromycin and Ciprofloxacin. I am not, however, finding any that start with an R. but it is possible that some doctors may use Rocephin, the active ingredient in Ceftriaxone, though it is not listed as being used to treat MRSA. Doing a lab for highschool about recombinant DNA, learning about taking the insulin gene from human DNA and inserting it into bacteria plasmids to mass-produce insulin. But Ampicillin, Actinonin, Actinomycin, and Azithromycin are just a few other names that I'm aware of as well. Are you trying to recall something that you may have taken in the past for an infection? ## Yes I'm trying to remember what I took. It caused me to break out in a rash from head to toe. I have been taking antibiotics without realizing they can affect the effectiveness of my sprintec birth control. I haven't taken an active pill in 4 days and I have no signs of my period as of yet. Is there a possibility of pregnancy? ## Hello, Holly! How are you? What antibiotic were you taking? According to the NIH, not all of them reduce the efficacy of oral contraceptives. As to being late, the FDA does warn that most antibiotics can lengthen your menstrual cycle, so you may start later than normal. I've learned to just expect it any time I have to take one. However, if you are concerned about pregnancy, there is no harm in checking to be sure.

It's an antibiotic that is available in a 5 day dosing pack, which contains the active ingredient Azithromycin. Since it is an antibiotic, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, I am not aware of anything at this time that's called a V-Pack, nor have I found any record of there ever being one. I understand you are in pain, but all antibiotics can take a few days to begin beating the infection. The general rule is that if it is working, you should not see any worsening after taking it for a full 24 hours, and you should start to see improvement after taking it for a full 72 hours. If not, then you should return to your doctor. Taking more than prescribed will not change this. I have been taking calvepen 666 for the past three days due to a strep throat, my urine is starting to smell nothing too bad but its quite strong is this normal.. I've taken amoxicillin 875mg twice a day for 21 days. I started out with a bad sinus infection and ear infection. Yes, all medications start to lose efficacy once past their expiration date and may not work as well as they did, when new.
