In a private hospital they have suggested to take it before dinner and in the government hospital they have suggested to take it after dinner. I am totally confused... anti tuberculosis ## how many times do I have to take quadtab as treatment for my recurring PTB? ## This drug contains Rifampicin 150 mg, INH 75 mg, pyrazinamide 400 mg, and ethambutol HCl 275 mg. It is indicated for intensive phase treatment of all forms of pulmonary & extrapulmonary TB. Dosing schedule: "Adult ≥71 kg 5 tab, 55-70 kg 4 tab, 38-54 kg 3 tab, 30-37 kg 2 tab. To be taken once daily, for 2-mth intensive phase treatment followed by a 3-drug (rifampicin + INH + ethambutol) for ≥4 mth maintenance phase treatment." seriousli ill extra pulmonary ## Please provide the frequency of side effects with anti t b new patient. Palpitations. Belching and pressure on chest.extreme fatigue,are noted. Small weight gain.

I am taking anti tb tablets schedule 1 at 7pm before dinner. Is this the correct way to take it or should I take it before breakfast? Also, after taking it, does it cause itching?
