Do you have a program to help low income ppatients with getting the perscriptions that my husband and I need? Thank You ## this site does not manufacture any products, this is an information only website, so this site does not have any such programs. As to Amneal Pharma, not they do not offer an assistance program for their products, because they are a generic drug manufacturer. Most generic drugs, which are already cheaper than name brands, do not have assistance programs. The assistance programs are generally only offered for the name brand medications. That said, if you can post back with the specific medications, i will gladly check to see if there are programs available for the name brand versions. Can you please post back with more information? ## what about disalcid ?

Could you tell me if the metaformin er 500 mg is gluten free? The tablet has IP 178 imprinted on it. ## Hi Melany, Based on my research, Amneal's 500mg Metformin hydrochloride ER tablets imprinted with IP 178, reportedly contain the following set of inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide + hypromellose + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose However, gluten as well as gluten derivatives do not appear to be listed here, so you should be safe in that regard. I hope this helps!

IP 203 imprinted on white scored tablet ## This tablet actually contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Percocet, this is a narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. You can read more on it here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## The pill I received from the Pharmacy atoday is Amneal manufacturing , blank on one side and markings IP204, not IP203 - is this still generic for PERCOCET 10/325 - it is white round also. ## Oops sorry - it is not round, it is a white oblong pills with IP204, bot IP203 - and no markings on the other side - is this equivalent to generic Percocet 10/325 (generic tylenol)? ## U Is this a crap medicine? This is in reference to Amneal Pharmaceutical's "7.5/325" Oxycodone, the label which also reads in part: "*7.5 mg oxycodone HCI, USP is equivalent to 6.7228 mg of oxycodone" without explaining what that means. CVS switched my brand last month and claim that all brands are the same strength. NOT SO, according to the level of pain and everyone who is in pain knows that pain does no lie. Having a website where people can rant about their product to one another is an old trick perfected by Apple, Google, and Microsoft to make us think that somehow they're part of the conversation. Do not take no for an answer in telling your doctor, pharmacist, and insurance that you insist on something that works and is in fact the strength that your doctor prescribed! ## Generics c...

So I live in Virginia and I have been on the orange pill (Buprenorphine made by Amneal) for almost two years now and the reason being because that's all I can afford. But now none of the pharmacies have them and what they do have cost $600 bucks or more and I can't afford that. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do? Can you recommend anything? Thanks ## Have you tried the strips? Many like them better than the pills. You can contact the manufacturer for free or low cost meds. ## You may also wish to check if this site's (or any other) discount card can offer a savings. There should be a price lookup tool that would at least be able to say what pharmacies in your area would charge based on your prescription. Getting in touch with the manufacturer may also...

I'm changing from Armour Thyroid to generic Levothyroxine. Any feedback as to the quality of the manufacturer, Amneal? I'm a little dizzy, and my eyes hurt and are very dry. ## They are a reputable manufacturer, but Armour Thyroid and Levothyroxine are not exactly the same, though they do treat the same conditions, so it is normal that you may experience some side effects, when you first switch. Other side effects to Levothyroxine may include weight changes, nausea, and loss of facial hair. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? ## I changed from Amour Thyroid to Nature-Throid. Amour changed the inert ingredients and I became allergic to them. I am now on Nature-Throid and it is excellent. ## I have found that I can only take the Mylan brand for some reason. Pharmacy...

I have an amneal pha pill, Smg / TMP DS 800- 160m. I was just diagnosed with chlamydia and came in for a recheck due to a symptom coming back. I have the feeling of a sore throat and I think its from doing oral with my partner. Will taking this pill help with my throat at least until my results come back from my doc? ## It will only help, if your sore throat is due to a bacterial infection, of some type. It is an antibiotic. Inappropriate use risks your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Additionally, it won't do anything to alleviate the pain and soreness. You would be best served to wait, until you get your test results and allow your doctor to deci...

Looking for identification of an aspirin size pill marked "A" on one side and "54" on the other side. Thanks. ## In the U.S. databases, this is listed as containing 40mgs of Benazepril, which is an ACE inhibitor that's used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Are the effects cumulative or do they dissipate after a while, I’m taking two 300mg pills a day. one moRniNG, one night? They were assigne for spinal stenoius and a hurneated disc and a slipped disc.they work some of the time, particularly in the morning and evening.i often skip them during the day when I am more physical and the pain lessens. So should I keep taking them regularly or only when I have pain. ## They work best when taken regularly, so the medication remains in your system at a constant level. They are not cumulative, our bodies eventually process everything out. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and mood changes. Are you on any other medications?

i have a white oblong pill it says on one side w p l on one side on the other side it has the numbers 39 68 is is this a NORCO ## Hi Don, This is actually NOT a Norco tablet. The white oblong pill you're describing marked WPI 39 68, is identified as Chlorzoxazone (500 mg). Manufacturer: Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00591-3968 Chlorzoxazone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant used to treat muscle spasm and the resulting pain or discomfort. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Chlorzoxazone Details I hope this helps! ## The truth always needs to be reviewed before it appears on the site. Taking it for 3 yrs, back pain getting worse on 2 per day. The state is clamping down on opioids. What could my doctor prescribe for me at this point? ## Even with the clamp downs going on, your doctor can still prescribe necessary medications, they just have to be careful how much they prescribe and make sure there is a legitimate reason for the patient to need them. If the person has a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer, such restrictions set forth by the DEA, exclude them. Too many doctors were prescribing pain medications, without verifying that a patient had a real reason to need them. The tablet you've mentioned is the 5/325mg dosage, so if your doctor things it may help, there is a 7.5/325mg dose and a 10/325mg that they could prescribe for you. The FDA classifies...

I was given a different brand of hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 by MFG AMNEAL, instead of my regular brand watson 10-325 I was told that my pharmacy wouldnt carry watson brand after the fact of giving me the new generic brand. Please let me know if Amneal Doxepin is gluten free? I am highly allergic to gluten, and take this for a rash. ## Doxepin is not used to treat a rash, it is an antidepressant that is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, weight changes, and mood changes. What are the markings on the ones you are taking? Is Amneal's Pyridium (Phenazopyridine) gluten free? ## Confirming that the pills marked PY 1 contain Phenazopyridine 100 mg (NDC 65162-681). Inactive ingredients are listed as: - Carnauba Wax - Croscarmellose Sodium - Hypromelloses - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Polyethylene Glycol 1000 - Povidone - Corn Starch Based on the list above, they don't appear to contain gluten-based ingredients. However, I have not confirmed with the manufacturer whether or not there is a possibility of cross contamination during the manufacturing process. All our pharmacies here have switched to amneal, which doesn't do a thing except give a headache. The brand does make a difference. The mylan works great. ## Yes, there can be differences in generic medications. Once a medication is available to be made a generic, it is allowed to differ, in the active ingredient, from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. The problem that you can run into, of course, is that generics do not have to measure against each other, just against the name brand. This means that while one generic may be high quality and contain 100mgs of a given medication, another generic may only contain 80mgs and another could contain 120mgs. Not everyone is sensitive to such changes and most people don...

I usually get a round pill for my prescription. Today my refill has a long straight white look with ip204 on it. Is it percoset or oxycodone? ## Hello, John! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I JUST GOT A REFILL ON MY METFORMIN. THE NEW NAME ON IT IS AMNEAL AND IT IS LIKE NOT TAKING ANYTHING AT ALL. MY SUGARS HAVE BEEN IN THE 340 RANGE. MY SUGARS HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS HIGH. I BELIEVE MY PREVIOUS BRAND NAME WAS EITHER SOLCO OR WATSON. ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT I SHOULD DO? ## Hello, Dooda! How are you doing? Has there been any change? With sugar levels that high, you need to see your doctor. If the pills from Amneal aren't working for you, you may need to switch to a different medication for awhile. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Metformin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence, stomach pain and hypoglycemia. Are you on any other medications? ## I have the same problem with Amneal Metformin...it's like I'm not taking anything at all.

Yes, both of the tablets you've mentioned contain 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen, they are generics for Vicodin, Lortab, Norco and others. Learn more Lortab details here. Amneal manufactured, Hydrcodone- Apap 5-325 doesn't work as well as V 3604 or Watson 349. Any idea why? ## Hi Jane, I think I can help answer your question here. One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. Aside from that, subtle differences in the "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers) could also impact the absorption/overall efficacy of the medication. Put two and two together and you pretty much have a different medication than what you may be used to taking. I hope this info helps! Have you tried any ...
