Hi i just want to know if yaz and althea pills have the same effect? which one is better? i've tried yaz pills before and my mens became regular but know im having problems with my menstrual cycle again because i had hormal imbalance and have stopped taking yaz for a year already and i visited my OB and asked me to take althea pills. ## HI, Ann! Hello, I have an irregular period and i'm 22 years old. my doctor told me that I have hormonal imbalance and PCOS. They then told me to take Provera for me to have my period, i waited for a couple of days and then it came, When I went back to the doctor, she said I should take Althea on the first day of my next period and do it for 6 months. im taking althea pills for three months because of delayed menstruation.. is it possible to get pregnant if i stop taking althea this is my last pack.. i want to get pregnant.. but until now im still irregular with my menstruation .. please help ## It is possible, but it may take a few months, it depends on when your body starts to ovulate, again.
