After a heart attack in 1995 I am taking ecosprin. But now I am suffering from gastric ulcers. Though they prescribe many drugs, all is neutralized by ecosprin, but I've experienced blood in my vomit and 24hrs of being uncomfortable in the stomach. No doctor is advising me to stop ecosprin. Is there an alternative I can use?

Ecosprin AV 75 has many short and long term side effects. Is there any alternative to this medicine which has lesser side effects comparatively. Is there any natural drug which is equivalent to Ecosprin AV 75? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, including over the counter products and natural remedies. The NIH lists the typical ones for Ecosprin AV as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, easy bruising, and joint/muscle aches. What issues are you experiencing while taking it? ## I am taking ecosprin 75 with amlopress AT 25 daily, but due to side effects like dark patches, I want to stop taking ecosprin 75.

my wife is taking ecosprin under doctor's advice. But this has triggered gas in her body and feel uneasy Can this be remedied ? ## Unfortunately, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain, are all common side effects of Ecosprin AV (aspirin). In my opinion, the best thing to do would be to use natural alternatives instead of this drug (depending on what your wife is taking it for). She may or may not continue to experience side effects until she stops taking the medication. That is just the nature of man made drugs. She can also try to take another medication to help ease the gas build up; but then again, that drug may come with side effects too. This is a common loop hole that many people who take prescriptions find themselves in. The only logical remedy would be to treat it naturally and ...

MY WIFE IS IN HER 24th WEEK OF PREGNANCY. DOCTOR ADVISED HER TO CONTINUE THIS MEDICINE ECOSPRIN 150 MG...PLEASE ADVISE WHETHER IT IS SAFE TO TAKE THESE AND WHAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR IT? ## Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and when used in these cases, it is usually prescribed for its blood thinning ability to prevent clots from occurring. It is sometimes used during pregnancy, because it has a lower rate of side effects than other drug alternatives, but she may still experience: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach pain. It can also increase the risk of bleeding, however, as long as her doctor is monitoring her and knows she is on it, then there shouldn't be any problems. Dear Doctor, I am 59 years old. Based on a CT coronary angiogram i have the following problems: "non-dominant calcified plaques in proximal LCX causing mild stenosis + calcified plaques in left anterior descending/circumflex coronary artery + dominant calcified plaques in proximal, mid RCA causing foci of mild stenosis". I am consuming Ecosprin AV 75 MG since 9 months and Metolar XR 50 since 6 months. So please advise how long i need to take Ecosprin AV 75 MG and Metolar XR 50? ## You should take them as long as your doctor instructs you to do so, which might be for the rest of your life. Stopping them could allow these issues to become life threatening. I don't like taking medications every day, either, but it is better than the alternative. The NIH lists the typical side e...

My father has been taking Ecosprin 150, 1 tab daily for the last 7 years. Would like to know if Loprin 75 is an alternative. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, Aspirin, which in these dosages, is most commonly used for its blood thinning properties. The only difference would be the dosage, going down from 150mgs to 75mgs. What has his doctor suggested? I wouldn't recommend making a switch, without their approval. Do you know why he was put on this medication? ## I was taking ECOSPRIN 150. Now I have been prescribed Loprin 7.5. Is there any reason for the change ?

Hi, my mother underwent an angioplasty last month and she is taking plavix and ecosprin along with other medicines. Now the doctor has suggested that we can start using clavix instead of plavix as plavix is very expensive. But I'm sceptical about it and would like to know wether Clavix is really as good as Plavix. Thanks, Kris ## There are a few limitations worth mentioning. Although randomized, and comparable in size to other similar investigations, PLUTO-Diabetes was a trial with a small sample size, so chance may represent a plausible alternative explanation for these findings. A high frequency of use of concomitant medications may have affected the platelet characteristics; however, the use of most major drugs was similar between the groups. There was a 2-fold greater prevalence...

I am a 27 year old married woman. I was diagnosed as a case of hyper homocyctenine level. due to this i lost control of right hand. later within 3-4 days i got control with Ecosprin 375 mg.
