Found 2 red capsules (looks like white powder inside) in a small clear plastic sealed bag. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what thse contain. We can rule them out as being U.S. prescription drugs, since those are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products or even a foreign medication. Where they found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## Hello I have the exact same type of pill. It has white powder in it, no markings, and when I opened it it smelled really sweet. I am thinking possibly a cranberry vitamin/supplement??? Are there any products that are packaged like that?

looking for input on a grey and red capsule with balls inside no markings on outside ## 1/2 red 1/2 grey capsule with Black powder inside. I got dizzy, nauseous, feel weak. They said its pennicillin,..is it? ## Hello romie, Unfortunately without having an imprint on the pill there is no way for me to verify the contents of the pill. What I can tell you is that the pill is not a prescription medication as the FDA requires all controlled medication to have an imprint or marking on them for tracking and verification purposes in the event of emergencies. The pill could be a vitamin, supplement, dietary pill, candy or an illegal substance. Realistically it could be anything as empty capsules like this can be bought in bulk and then filled with anything. What you can do if you really need to kn...

Found a red and grey capsule with white powder and no markings - what is it? I cant find it anywhere. ## The FDA requires all prescription products in the U.S. to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency, so this is most likely an over the counter product, of some type, though there is a small chance it was a specially compounded medication, or something from a foreign source. Is anyone else familiar with a capsule matching this description?

its a big red pill with letters or numbers on it. its about 2.5 cm long. it gets bigger at the top. Also at the top before it gets round, theres a darker red line and tiny holes punched under the line going in a circle. ## If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required, by law, to have markings to enable their identification, however, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## sorry never mind i found out it was a diet pill but thanks for the help.

found these in boyfriends stuff. he is a gym goer and i wanted to know what they are? ## If there are no markings, it will likely be difficult to determine what they contain. We can rule them out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be an over the counter product, a foreign medication or something specially ordered by a doctor and made by a compounding pharmacy. Are they actually a capsule, or are they caplets? ## MOST LIKELY THESE ARE A WEIGHLIFTING SUPPLIMENT., OR COULD BE A MEXICAN TRAMADOL NIETHER ARE A HUGE DEAL. Trying to identify a capsule that is yellow on one end and red on the other. There are no markings. ## Do you have any thoughts as to what it is supposed to be, or any other details such as the packaging or where it was obtained? Without any markings it could very well be an over the counter supplement or medication. ## Could be Lymecycline, used to treat STDs or acne

I found some capsules with a red stripe, and little red and white balls inside, not sure what it is, and there are no markings on either the capsule or the foil container. They are fairly old, but I don't want to throw them away without knowing what they are.

There’s no number on the green and white capsule and I can’t find it on the internet, but it’s the only one left in my dossett box so I thought it was for blood pressure. I usually take Ramapril which are red and white 5mg pills.

I found a clear pill capsule with black and red beads in it. The pill has no markings at all. Does anyone know what it could be or where I can find out since there's no markings? ## I found the exact same thing on the floor in my house. I'm going to take it to a pharmacist and see what he/she says. I'll let you know. ## @Chickadee, were you able to get any feedback yet from a pharmacist on this pill's identification? Thank you for going out of your way to check on that for us all! I for one haven't had any luck finding specific details about it on the web thus far. @Jen, have you considered getting the pill's contents analyzed by a lab or perhaps via one of those drug panel kits that can at least help determine whether or not there are any illicit substances pres...

my mom found these pills that are in a capsule that is half black and half dark red and it has a oil type liquid that smelled to me like cooking flour. shes freaking out about it and I have no idea what it is please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ## Hi QueenBee, Unfortunately there is no way to identify a pill without an imprint as all Rx and OTC drugs in the US are required by the FDA to have an imprint. Unless there was an imprint that got rubbed off, your pill is likely to be one of the following: diet, energy, herbal, vitamin. Otherwise it could be illicit or foreign. Where exactly did your mom find the pills? I hope this helps in some way! ## This is a pill originating in China and is distributed for a company that calls this product "Enzyte". It is supposed...

I have a white capsule that has brown powder on the inside and no markings. It's a brownish red powder on the inside. What can it be? ## Hi Chasidy, Just out of curiosity, whereabouts did you get your pill from? Knowing its origin may provide helpful clues for narrowing down prospective pill ID's. Also, does the brownish/red powder have any sort of smell to it? Certain herbal supplements have distinct (recognizable) odors. Unfortunately, without the verification of a lab analysis, a pill with no markings could turn out to be anyone's best guess... One thing's for sure though, and that is, the FDA doesn't approve any US prescription drugs that do not have an imprint or marking of some kind for reference. Having said this, I can only assume that the pill itself may be ...

about 3/4 inch long ## If there are no markings, then I am sorry to say that it will be impossible to positively identify, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. The only thing we can say for certain is that it is not a legal, U.S. prescription medication, since under federal law, they all must have markings to enable their ID. However, it could be any one of a number of over the counter items, such as medications, vitamins or supplements. I wish I could help you more!
