Well, I'm 17 and I'm an adolescent!! So I won't to make sure this medicine isn't for adults only. And I've been overemotional and sensitive all my life. Depression is very common in my family. I've never taken an anti-depressant before. My depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the part of my brain that controls my emotions and how I feel, which is made worse because I was born premature. I also have trouble sleeping and getting motivated every day. So I want to know if the medicine called Rispadol is right for me and won't have any lasting side effects on my behavior or make me feel more depressed. I have been off and on the medication since 2001. The only time I get off of it because I gain so much weight.. But as soon as I get of the meds, I loose weight and fast.. Really my Dr placed me on this med because I had a poor eating habit (maybe one meal a day).. But now I am back on the pill bc I have lost to much weight in my book... I went from 115 lbs in 2001 to 135.. Don't get me wrong I love the weight gain. I also suffer from migraines and so far this pill has yet to help with that..
