What has been adult reactions and experiences who take Adderall? ## my works fun, not the drug. im not really liking this perscripion ## I personally have suffered from severe ADHD since i was a child.. they had tried me on many different medications for it, which hadn't helped. However Adderall is by far the best medication that I have taken. My attention span has expanded, I am able to perform the tasks that I need to do without getting sidetracked and whatnot. Especially at work and school. Granted if you take it late in the day persay after 6:30-7ish at night, you'll have a really hard time falling asleep at night. It is deffinately an upper, but it does do wonders for many people. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about it, they know more than what anyone else would know. #... ...

Hi, I have recently moved back to the new orleans area and need a doctor who liberally prescribes adderall. Any suggestions in the new orleans/metarie/ westbank area would be great. Thanks in advance ## Adderall is typically prescribed by psychiatrists and pediatricians, while general practitioners typically prescribe the medication for certain off-label uses. That said, I would consider finding psychiatrists and/or pediatricians in your area as opposed to a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. I know this isn't a direct answer to your ... ...

trying to find a doctor who will prescribe easily in NJ, who wont ask any questions ## Hi lexie, To my knowledge, virtually any type of doctor can see you for ADHD (pediatrician, psychiatrist, regular MD). Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Also, you can't expect them to not ask any questions, because that is essentially part of their job in making sure they give you the right medication and aren't just handing it over to someone who only wants to abuse it. Depending on your approach, I'm sure Adderall will remain... ...

add drug ## Adderall XR, maybe I got a bad generic but it's crap, it does not reveal in your system. I hate all XR meds they are awful. My doctor put me on reg Adderall and the quality is night and day, reg last 4 hours that's okay. I take another one, and get the same quality. The xr is weak and seems to last a shorter time than the IR. Everybody is different I know, and I'm no doctor, so take what your prescribed, and please do not abuse drugs, take it like its prescribed. It works trust me. You might have to wait 15 to 25 minutes but you will feel better about yourself. God bless. ## This is a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. I just went to pick up my rx and last month $19.90 ok say $20.00. Now they are saying $49.84?! What is the issue? And if that is not bad enough last month my norco 10/3.25 was $23.50 for 150 count now it is over $50.00 and i'm am shopping pharmacies because i don't have insurace. Not new drugs same stuff WHY is the cost SKY ROCKTED?? ## It depends on the prices they pay, when they have to restock their supply. There has been a shortage of Adderall for the past several months, so they probably received a supply from a different company than usual, or if it's the same company, the price was higher to get it in. When they restocked on the Norco, the price was probably higher than it used to be, in that case, they have no choice but to raise the price for customers. Is there any... ...

It's Sandoz 30mg I don't feel the effect as I would on the Corepharma ## Hi Isa, How are you doing? One of the possible reasons why you may not be getting the same amount of relief with Sandoz as you might with Corepharma, is often due to the fact that each manufacturing company uses a different set of binders/fillers (inactive ingredients). This is basically the extra fluff that holds the tablet together. Some companies use more of it than others, and some even go so far as using cheaper genetically modified substances that our body's can't metabolize (yet it's what's covering up the actual active substance, blocking it being released in it's normal therapeutic quantity/bioavailability). This is what I believe is occurring in patients who report having simil... ...

I am not sure what to do. My 12 year old son takes adderal once a day for his ADHD for many years now. 2 years ago moved here and the clinic he goes to the office staff is very rude. So i went to another doc. but they will not see him till his records are transferred. As soon as the doc. got the transfer request they called and cancelled his appointment with no explanation. (No surprise to me). He needs these meds for school, without them there is a very noticeable difference. They run out on the 26th of Feb. so i have been skipping weekends in hopes to have plenty for school. I am not sure what to do. I know the doc. has 30 days to transfer files, and than i have to make an appointment with the new doc. which could take time to get in. Normally if my son doesn't have the meds for t... ...
