I have been dispensed dihydrocodiene. The manufacturer is Actavis. The pill is about 5mm round in size and shape, white in color, and is imprinted on one side with the letters C,D,H. The letter 'C' appears at the top and letters "DH" appear as a "second line" imprint below the "C". I'm trying to discern that the medication has not be switched or substituded as it was purchased from a pharmacy that gossip about says substitutions happen. Is this medication what it says it is? ## I work for the manufacturer & the tablets certainly is the right size & has the right markings on it. It would be impossible to advise on its authenticity on a forum though. If you are doubt about receiving fake tablets, contact the MHRA, the pharmaceutical regulatory b... ...

I am curious if there have been some reports about this generic I am prescribed and the pharmacy just recently switched over to these. I know they can vary slightly in the amount and their inactives are different, but this seems very strange. It's not helpful and it gives me a "dull" type of ongoing headache all day long. Have you heard of any negatives regarding Actavis generic xanax? Thank you. ## Headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, and irritability. What are the markings on them? Sometimes the manufacturer listed is actually just a licensed distributor. Actavis Lorazepam

Used to taking Watson Lorazepam Actavis Lorazepam not effective! ## Hi sylvia, When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences you are noticing have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention this to their patients, after giving them a completely different script without prior notice. Have you tried discussing this issue with your doctor yet? Hopefully he can specify a manufacturer for you in the script. ...
