I just switched from Suboxone 8mg(bup) 2(mg)Nal, to Subutex 8mg no Naloxone and they are the Activis brand. The SUBOXONE with naloxone WOULD LAST me 24hours. I've been on the Subutex now 2 days and I put the 8mg TABLET UNDER my tongue at 10am & by 6pm I start getting goosebumps I'm cold I feel jittery and just ugh I can't focus and I get off work 7 7:30 and I have had to take another 6-8 mg when I get home to make it comfortably through the night. But now at least I'm not throwing up every day sometimes twice a day... the naloxone made me super sick but now with this Subutex I need 16mg every 24 hours.... but the naloxone made me zombie like and I just felt depressed all the time. So if I have to take 16mg every 24hours for now I guess I will. I wish Subutex was avai...

I refilled my monthly subutex Tuesday and received orange oblong tablets inscribed 153. My pharmacy has carried 54/111 over three years. Does anyone know if the orange ones are going to permanently replace all other generic Buprenorphine? Also, are any other patients experiencing loss in quality? Thank you ## I have just received the same orange 8 mg 153 Subutex from MFG Actavis Elizabeth...I haven't taken any yet becaus I am not sure what to expect as far as changes, I have been taking the MFG Hi-Tech 8 mg Subutex for a year and a half. Has anyone ever taken or hear about a peach/orange covered, oval subutex with the inscription 54 411 on it? .. I can't find these particular ones online anywhere but I believe theyre brand new and I was also wondering what milligram they are? ## The last time I filled my script that's what they were, Orange, oval, 8mg bupenorphen. ## Hi Challen, These orange oval tablets must be fairly new, as per my research, 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride with an imprint of 54 411 is still identified as being white and round. On the other hand, 8mg Buprenorphine Hydrochloride has also been made available in an orange oval tablet with 153 on one side and an Actavis half moon logo on the other. These are somewhat new as well, so not to be mistaken for the other orange oval tablet that you'r...

the pill is orange and is oblong or foot ball shaped. it has 152 on one side and a little symbol on the other. Is this a real subutex? ## Hello, Pat! How are you? Are you sure that it's 152? There are two Subutex that match this description, which are manufactured by Actavis, the 2mg has their logo and 156, the 8mg has their logo and 153. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Yes. It's Just made by a different manufacturer, Actavis.

Do they make an orange Subutex? Is that available? ## I just got my script filled this month for subutex. I used to get the white tablet with an arrow and 8 on each side. Today I got 8mg Orange oblonged shaped with 153 and a moon on it. They are pretty big compared to what I was getting. Same thing except they just don't dissolve as quickly and have a different taste. So apparently they do make orange ones, just found out today. ## Just for added confirmation - yes, it is true that they do make an orange oblong/oval generic 8mg Subutex (Buprenorphine hydrochloride) sublingual tablet with 153 on one side and the Actavis' half moon logo on the other. This tablet also contains the following set of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), which may be different than what you might...

ARE SUBUTEX EVER ORANGE AND ROUND WITH HALF MOON AND 26 ON GENERIC 20 MG TABLETS? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? No, Actavis actually lists this as being a 20mg generic Adderall tablet, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Here we go mine are not mine are 8mg each don't you ask the Dr. ## I got a square cube with 4 pieces on its white clear looking is that suboxen

They are subutex. I went to Actavis' website and searched their products. Here is the link to the product page where you can find the orange oval 153 half moon pill: actavis.com/products/key-products/product-search Hope this helps and is proof instead of he said she said. ## Hello Mindy, Unfortunately your link doesn't actually take us to a page that has any direct information regarding the buprenorphine pill you are talking about. I have always found Actavis/Teva to have the most complicated website to navigate and thus I would rather just post information regarding this pill from the NIH and FDA directly. So below is all of the info I have grabbed from the NIH website directly regarding this pill. Clicking on the NDC link provided below will take you to a page with more inform...

Is there a pink looking subutex that's oval and one side has 153 the other has a fancy looking d one and is it a 8mg? ## Hello, Rita! How are you? Yes, that is correct, it is manufactured by Actavis and that is actually meant to be a half moon logo. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can someone please post a picture of what one of these new subutex look like? Thanks... ## Hi Rob, I do find it odd that the manufacturer (Actavis) doesn't post photographs of their pills prior to releasing them on the market, as I think it just creates more confusion... But if you take a look at the following discussion thread, another visitor was kind enough to share a link to their own image of this orange oblong/oval subutex pill with a half moon on one side and the number 153 on the other: Discuss/orange-subutex-153-half-moon-pills-286895.htm?srcq=subutex+153 Hope this helps! ## <> with a half moon an 153 on other side ## You can Google 153 pill and it will show U all shapes and names of pills with 153 on them and I think it was the 2nd one pictured

This is for people who actually take Subutex for the intended purpose for which it is used. So if you actually take the medication sublingually, this thread will help you. I have been taking buprenorphine for three and a half years now. This is what I have found: (8mg) Best: Actavis 153/half moon (orange) Middle: Roxanne 54/411 (white) Worst: Hi-Tech 8/arrow Again, this is for people who take medication as prescribed. You can actually break the medication in half and put it and the front of your lip like dip & chewing tobacco. It will take longer for it to dissolve like this but you will get much much more of the bupe. ## Does keeping the leftover saliva\bupe mixture under your toung for longer periods help at all? I try not to swallow the bupe-liva for 30 min.+...but it's a pai...

Someone told me that as of July 1,2015 if u were being prescribed subutex that unless u were pregnant u would have to be put on suboxone ## I heard the same thing. Someone please give information. ## I think it's an odd thing for doctor's/pharmacies to start implementing. Especially since there are individuals with allergies to Naloxone, who just can't take Suboxone. I've yet to come across any specific details about this new policy, but something else I find interesting is that Actavis recently came out with a new orange Subutex tablet (153 imprint w/ a half moon logo) that I'm sure wouldn't have been prescribed to patients within the past month only to be switched to Suboxone '30 days later'? Something about that just doesn't seem right. I realize b...

Please let me know what this pill Is. It's Orange with 153 on one. The other side has a half moon. What is this? ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as being an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, so it's a generic for Subutex, which doesn't contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have no idea what this is... I think it's a subutex. Can someone plz help me find out? ## Hi linny, You were actually right on target with your assumption! Based on the description provided, I found an orange oval-shaped pill with a half moon logo on one side and 153 on the other, to be an 8mg Buprenorphine hydrochloride (sublingual) tablet; aka generic subutex. For added verification, the manufacturer is listed as Actavis. Inactive ingredients are reported to be as follows: citric acid anhydrous + crospovidone + FD & C yellow #6 HT aluminum lake + lactose monohydrate + magnesium stearate + mannitol + pregelatinized starch (maize) + povidone + sodium citrate dihydrate I hope this helps! ## A good friend of mine has been on subutex for years now. I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name: *roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411 *hi tech- 8 ^(arrow) *mylan- M924 *teva (allergen/activas own...

I have been getting the generic Subutex Roxane brand 54 411 Buprenorphine tablets for months now from Walmart pharmacy and the past two times I've gotten my prescription filled there, I was given a different generic made by Hi Tech with an 8 and an arrow. I asked them why the change because those little tablets just are not the same and they said the Roxane ones could not be ordered. I called around to other pharmacies I have gotten my prescription filled at before also and was also told that the Mylan M 924s can no longer be ordered either. What's going on with the Roxane and Mylan Buprenorphine tablets? Did they stop making them or is there some kind of shortage? I had the choice of getting the small Hi Tech tablets which seem alot less potent than the Roxane or the Actavis 15...

155 on one side, other side has a half moon - just wanting to make sure I know what this is. Is it suboxone? ## Yes, this pill is a generic for Suboxone from Actavis and contains Buprenorphine 8 mg + Naloxone 2 mg (NDC 0228-3155).
