Hello my name is Pinky, I have been on painkillers since 2006 because of extremely bad back. Where I can't do something's for myself. I starting on Vicodin and then my Doctor witch me to Percocet 10 and they work wonderfully. I was able to do a lot of things and I was not in bed anymore. Then about three, four months ago when I had to fill my script I realize that my pills was different and not only that they were not that affective even my husband realize the same thing, and not only that my body change for the worst. I had GI problems everyday from the time I wake up till I go to sleep my anxiety got real bad, I was in and out the hospital and the doctors could not find out why. I ask could it be the Percocet being that it has change and some doctors was uncertain and some said...

ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...

Both my mom and I are chronic pain suffers. I have had 3 back surgeries and she has had 1 and has osteoarthritis. Actavis percocet are really bad. No good for pain even at 10/325. She was taking Lortab 10/500 and since the switch she has had hives, nausea, ringing in the ears. We believe it is the pain pills causing the problem. Anyone else having these type problems? ## Hello Reba! How are you both doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Rather than taking Percocet, the doctor could still prescribe something with Hydrocodone in it, if that's what works better, it is still available, just with the lower amounts of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

Hello I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy 2 years ago and I'm prescribed these a333. Idk what you people are talking about because they certainly help with my muscles deterioration. I honestly think alot of people saying that they don't help are upset about then nit getting them high enough ## Hello, Dylan! How are you? I'm very glad that this medication is helping you. Not every medication works for everyone that tries it, so while this one may help you, it may not alleviate pain for everyone, so it doesn't necessarily mean that they are just looking to get high. Another issue is the fact that the amount of the active ingredients can vary from one generic to another. Thus, if someone was taking one, for awhile, that was a little higher than this one, then suddenly s...

My husband takes the generic form of Percocet for severe chronic breakthru pain. I am looking for assistance in paying for his medications. He is on medicare w/ a supplement incl part d however he is now in the medication gap making this a very expensive rx. Anyone know of any assistance resources? ## @grannychoas, This site actually offers a drug discount card that can reportedly save you anywhere from 15% to 75% off your Rx, potentially cutting the cost by more than half. You can view more details about it on the following page: RX Savings Card Just print out that card for your husband and have him bring it whenever he goes to fill a prescription. At that point the pharmacy should be able to determine how much of a discount he'll receive. I'd be curious to know if the percenta...

Actavis percocet is doing nothing for my pain im bout to die from horrible pain help ## Hello, Misty! How are you? Many people have complained about these tablets. The best suggestion I can make is to speak to your doctor, they may be able to prescribe an alternative medication that you can use for awhile. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How long have you been taking it? ## The Actavis percocet is the worst generic out there now. You should read other blogs about this terrible generic it is totally no good and needs to be re-called. You are not alone as there are many of us in pain now from not being able to get our usual percocet by Watson. You must c...

I have been taking Oxycontin and for BTP Watson 10/325 generic Percocet for a number of years; they have always given me some pain relief. The Actavis Percocet 10/325 do not give me any pain relief. Life is hard enough with the stigma I get from pharmacists’, some friends, people in the pharmacies. All the time I wish my pain would go away because it’s very hard to take these pain pills, adding the stigma wow!! I have no other option. Surgeons will not operate they say the odds of making my whole back worse is to high, therapy done it many times doesn’t work. It’s been over 10 years I’ve suffered with what feels like half of a back and life. I can’t do much at all. A number of years ago I tried racing my little daughter my left leg is so weak on my th...

What country manufactures Acatavis's generic product oxycodone 10mg/acetaminophen 325mg tablets ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? I'm afraid that I don't have this information, however, what I can tell you is that regardless of where any given medication is manufactured, all of them must meet the same safety, quality and efficacy standards to be approved by the FDA and available on the U.S. market. This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actavis is located in Elizabeth NJ. I ride pass there every week when i visit my daughter.

Just wondering what these pills look like and is this the same as by Mallencourt? Nancy ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? Are you referring to the generic for Percocet that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone? If so, the ones manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth are round, white and have the marking A349 on one side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And yes, it's the same medication, just manufactured by a different company.

this pill does not do what its supposed to do very weak not good for pain ## There have been many complaints about these tablets from Actavis. I suggest reporting the issue to the FDA, so they are made aware of it. You can reach them at 888-463-6332 This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This is my first time receiving Actavis A333 and I must say (to keep it professional) they are "C-R-A-P!" I just had my doctor cut me down from 15 mg Roxi to 10 mg Percocet. Yes, from 15 mg Roxi to Percocet 10 mg. Two reasons, one to help me control it and two because I get tired calling around the pharmacies trying to find t...

I had been taking 5/325 generic Watson percocet for 4 years. Suddenly I get notified by Walgreens which I have insurance that there is no more Watson brand and I was given generic percocet 5/325 by Actavis. It is not the same at all. It has no pain relief for me. I used to break the watsons in half sometimes and never had a funny taste. I just broke one of the actavis white tablets in half and it immediately tasted like salt or alka seltzer? Has anyone had any issues with this drug too. Also, along with it not working right it has made my GI tract and stomach so ill feeling and cramping. This is not right how can they take away a medicine that someone has been on for 4 years without any problems and tell them to suddenly switch. Would a peson who has been on a certain heart medication f...

I'm trying to figure out if these meds are the same. If not what's the difference? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? They are the same, just manufactured by difference companies. The one with the V marking is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and the one with the logo 230 is manufactured by Actavis. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I take the Rhodes 10/325 percocet and they are better than actavis oh that don't help at all. Rhodes and Amneal I agree are weak compared to the old Watson's and Mallinckrodt, and Endocet, even Roxicet. What happened to those that did wonders I don't know. ## Hi Stevo, I think when it comes down to drug efficacy, we not only have to look at the active ingredients/dosages, but just as importantly, the binders and fillers which often change from manufacturer to manufacturer. So what happened to those drugs that did wonders? - Well, from my perspective drug companies probably did add various inert ingredients that somehow affect bioavailability or how well our body absorbs the "active" ingredients that are composed within all the fillers. It's hard to say if there i...

Just received alvogen Percocet for the first time yesterday and was very skeptical being that I have gotten the actavis before and had such a bad reaction with no relief at all. After reading reviews I just knew that it wasn't going to work. This medication has exceeded all doubt. Took care of my pain very quickly with minimal stomach upset. I have had quite a few generic brands before from mallinkrodt, Roxane, endocet, qualities, and actavis. Mallinkrodt and Roxane being the best in my opinion. I am thankful. I sure did not wanna have to go through fighting the doc or insurance company trying to get them to understand as I just had surgery and dealing with enough. I really do believe it has to do with your chemical makeup and how your body responds to the med. Except for actavis......

10/325 generic percocet which is the best manufacturer for chronic pain ## Hi Em, Unfortunately because every brand/generic effects each person differently, the only honest way to go about finding out what works best, is to try out different manufacturers for yourself. That way you can also formulate your own valid opinion. What I can tell you though from reading a lot of posts on this site, is that Actavis (Formerly known as Watson) has been receiving a massive amount of complaints lately regarding the quality and efficacy of their generic Percocet tablets. So that's probably one company you'd want to steer clear from based on their recent track record. I hope this helps! ## I am a 53 year old grandmother, full-time student earning my bachelors in psychology counseling, then on...

I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Who are you getting them from? ## I haven't had any personal experience with this med, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis I think any other brand would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals also makes Percocet. I'd just be mindful of the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that they put into those tablets, because you never know if something in there could be effecting its potency/bioavailability from the point of absorption. From what I've read, Endo u...

Hi there, Who among us was getting generic percocet by actavis mfr up until walgreens switched to Camber mfr. (RECENTLY) Well...here,s my question....We were getting generic actavis and for many of us, it helped us. I think all of us have heard that a "BRAND NAME" Holds it's patton for 20 years? Then, it goes generic..RIGHT? Well, I have been told by numerous places that the "GENERIC ACTAVIS PERC" went to a "BRAND NAME" How in the world does that happen??? How can a generic suddenly go to a brand name that insurance will not cover? Think about that.... ## The patent is held for 18 years, but there can be some exceptions that allow for additional time, or for a generic to come to market sooner. And no, a generic does not become a name brand, a generic stays a ...

Which rx gives better & longer pain relief? ## Hello, Plumber! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have ulcer disease and can't take any nsaids, especially aspirin. I've been taking generic Percocet 5/325 for about a year now for broken ribs and other things. I just got a refill and they changed the manufacturer to Camber T192 white round tablet.. when I opened the bottle the first thing I noticed was the smell of aspirin and the chalk all around the bottle. In the past they have always filled it with Actavis white round coated pill #A349. These had no smell at all. I called the pharmacy to ask about this as their printout also said the Camber pill is blue and it is white. The girl assured me I had the correct pill, it was obviously generic and the manufacturer had been changed. She said it was not aspirin. I do know what it smells like. I am just concerned because if I tak...
