I have been dispensed dihydrocodiene. The manufacturer is Actavis. The pill is about 5mm round in size and shape, white in color, and is imprinted on one side with the letters C,D,H. The letter 'C' appears at the top and letters "DH" appear as a "second line" imprint below the "C". I'm trying to discern that the medication has not be switched or substituded as it was purchased from a pharmacy that gossip about says substitutions happen. Is this medication what it says it is? ## I work for the manufacturer & the tablets certainly is the right size & has the right markings on it. It would be impossible to advise on its authenticity on a forum though. If you are doubt about receiving fake tablets, contact the MHRA, the pharmaceutical regulatory b... ...

Just wondering what these pills look like and is this the same as by Mallencourt? Nancy ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? Are you referring to the generic for Percocet that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone? If so, the ones manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth are round, white and have the marking A349 on one side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And yes, it's the same medication, just manufactured by a different company. ...

this pill does not do what its supposed to do very weak not good for pain ## There have been many complaints about these tablets from Actavis. To all ppl that has side effects of anxiety Xanax with your meds control that. Now the true brand of Watson Norcos are sold for 495 Prices went up and if your insurance don't pay for it they will give u generics or the pharmacy you go like CVS always gives generics ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, can be habit forming, so they may not be an appropriate choice for everyone. And the price on Norco, which is a narcotic analgesic, may also vary from one area to the next, plus your pharmacy is required to provide a generic first if you are insured, that is not an option that is left up to you. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I trying find good pharmacy I don't like CVS and Walgreen ...

How are you both doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Rather than taking Percocet, the doctor could still prescribe something with Hydrocodone in it, if that's what works better, it is still available, just with the lower amounts of Acetaminophen. Used to taking Watson Lorazepam Actavis Lorazepam not effective! ## Hi sylvia, When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences you are noticing have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention this to their patients, after giving them a completely different script without prior notice. Have you tried discussing this issue with your doctor yet? Hopefully he can specify a manufacturer for you in the script. ...
