I've been taking Tecta for more than one year, have been experiencing weight gain, bloating, sugar cravings, and having hip pain. Also, my overactive bladder seems to have worsened. When I started taking 2 Vimovo a day, I had some disconcerting side effects: coughing and wheezing at night, acid reflux that would be so severe I was up-chucking. This means that there have been "no proven risks associated with human use". The US National Library of Medicine also verifies its safety in one of their controlled studies, stating that "exposure to amoxicillin + clavulanic acid during pregnancy is unlikely to result in an increased risk of fetal malformations."
