blue oblong 3596 ## The pill in description is Vicodin (750 mg - 7.5 mg), however I could not locate a blue oblong pill. I was only able to find white oblong pills. A v in this case does not stand for Vicodin, it stands for the manufacturer, so I need to know if there is one on there to give you a positive id. ## yes it has a V ## Thank You! Chemical wise they are essentialy the same. Hydrocodone(5mg)/Acetaminophen(500mg). Each manufacturer may use different fillers for there pills but, you will be recieveng the same dose from either one ## Hi Loiselle, Thanks for sharing this bit of information! That slight variation of inactive ingredients seems to have such a big impact on how the drug itself is metabolized and used by your body. Unfortunately, I think these fillers are part of the reason why so many people react differently to the same medications and experience different side effects. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Warsaw - check this site's half life calculator, it lists the average half life of Hydrocodone at 5 hours, or around 2 days for a single dose to be fully eliminated. Hope this helps!

Norco contains exactly the SAME ingredients that Vicodin does!! Please note the V on the pill DOES NOT stand for Vicodin. It stands for the pharmaceutical company: Vintage Qualitest. The pill marked V 3596 contains Acetaminophen 750mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs. Exactly the same as active ingredients as the Norco did. The only difference is who manufactures them and possibly the dosage, if your doctor changed it. Hydrocodone is still a narcotic, but much stronger than codeine. ## is is safe for me to use my medicade card to fill out my norco 10mg scrip even if my dr desn't take medicade ...

On the other side is a line through 1/2 the pill ## Hi Boo, Roxane Labs appears to carry the closest match to your description. However their tablet is a white round pill with 54 on top of 543 on one side side; and scored on the back. I found this pill n my son room it's white with blue spots small oval shape ## Hi fatt, A white oblong shaped pill with blue specks and a marking of "IG 359" is reportedly identified as a 37.5mg Phentermine tablet, marketed for weight loss. Additionally, this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Camber Pharma, based out of Piscataway, NJ. NOTE: Phentermine is only available by prescription here in the US, and can also be habit-forming according to NIH.gov; so it may be a good idea to keep an eye on your son if you feel that he may be abusing it or obtaining it in any other way than through his doctor.
