Round white pill with A 102, what is it? ## This tablet contains Bupropion Hydrochloride 300 mg (NDC 68084-0252), which is an atypical antidepressant and smoking cessation aid. I have a small round pill with no other markings but A - 102 on one side only. What is this pill and what is it used for? ## Hi Tom, You didn't mention what color your pill was, but a small round white pill with A 102 on one side and blank on the other, is reportedly identified as Bupropion ER (300mg); an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Par Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 10370-102. You can also click on the NDC link to view an image of the pill. A small white round tablet inscribed with A 102, is this Wellbutrin? ## I can't find anything listed under this, can you please double check the imprint? ## I get bupropion xl 300mg tablets, and they say a 102 on them. It used to be an oval pill (light yellow, number 682) Don't worry it is the Generic. =) ## Thank you Alice for providing this information. Sometimes generics are released so fast, that it takes awhile for the professional prescription databases to keep up, so some things aren't always found listed right away when they are new on the market. ## it is A102, not 102, by the way. =) ## Thanks Alice, I did find it listed under the A 102, the professional database I use updates regularly and this one was just added. It is Bupropion 300mgs, a generic for Wellbutrin XL.

Anyone take generic Wellbutrin made by Par pharmaceuticals? How is it working for you? ## I haven't taken this particular manufacturer's generic form of Wellbutrin (Bupropion), but thought I'd provide some additional information on it for those readers who may be trying to compare it with other brands/generics they may or may not have already tried. Bupropion XL made by Anchen Pharmaceuticals (of whom Par Pharmaceuticals purchased in 2011) are the small white round tablets imprinted in black ink with "A 101" or "A 102" for the 150mg/300mg doses, respectively. I received this from mail order after taking wellbutrin 300 xl for about 5 years. The round white pill's only marking is A102. has anyone had experience with this medication? Is it realy the same? ## Just last month mypill had WPI 3332 on it. This months refill has the A 102. ## Yes A 102 contains 300mgs of controlled release Bupropion, the active ingredient in Wellbutrin and Zyban. This is an antidepressant that is also used for smoking cessation. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth. My psychiatrist added Prestiq to my 300mg bupropion. It makes a big difference in making me feel better....

I ordered wellbutrin 300xl from Aetna Home Delivery and instead of getting my usual bupropion xl tabs with the number WPI3332, the pills were smaller with the number A 102. Is this the same medicine?
