I'm a 59 year old female, diagnosed with Behcet's Disease and I use Prednisone for treatment for my weekly flares. The Prednisone is hard on my bones and has caused me to get osteoporosis in my hips. I had my first infusion of Zometa six days ago. I thought I was going to die from the side effects. I had 103 degree fever for five days, deep bone pain everywhere, muscle pain, flu like symptoms, migraine headache, burning eyes, pale skin, restlessness, and no appetite. Today six days later I'm still fatigued, pale, mild bone pain, mild muscle pain and no appetite. I reported these side effects to my doctor. His nurse suggested I maybe try Prolia injection in six months instead. I found this web site and was reading everything about Prolia and the side effects, they sound exact...

I have been taking Faslodex and Zometa for the past 9 months for breast cancer, metasis to the bone. Faslodex was increased to 500mg monthly from 250mg the last 4 months. Has anyone had increased side effects from the increase to 500mg? Back pain, leg cramps, tingling in hands, with aching arms, are just a few. I never know when they are going to start, onset is fast and strong. Much more fatigue, also ## Sorry to read of your condition and I hope your treatments help you beat it. It is normal to experience more side effects any time your dosage is raised on a medication, it should start to taper off as your body adjusts to the new dosage. However, all cancer medications are very harsh on the body, so you will probably always have some side effects. Fasodex contains the active ingredien...

Any help anyone can give me would be greatle appreciated, as i Said, she is really suffering Thanks in Advance!! ## There are alternative medications that she could try, such as Prolia, Zometa, and Boniva to name a few, as well as several more. She should ask her doctor about trying a different one. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. How is she doing, now?

I experienced severe numbness, tingling and weakness in my left hand, little finger and next finger. Also experienced brain fog so severe I couldn't read and otherwise felt just very sick. This started after I only had two injections of the Faslodex. Symptoms were very scary and so severe I refused to continue the Faslodex. It's been a month and half since I discontinued it and the brain fog is better but still experiencing the hand numbness, tingling and weakness. Praying it gets better....anyone else experiencing these side effects I'm also taking Zometa. ## Its your ulnar nerve.
