## If you want the answer to the false readings that Zantac gives on drug panels, all that you have to do is call the company that makes Zantac. Boehringer Ingelheim, phone number (203)-798-9988. I just Talked to a man named Ed, who connected me to the company nurse that told me, yes, Zantac causes false readings for amphetamine. She also told me, that she has to report all complaints to the FDA. What this means, that if enough people call in and complain, then maybe the FDA will force the company to put a warning label on the box. Good luck. Respectfully, Andy

Hi, this happened to me last december. My period was already late by 1 month didn't take pt yet, then I got sick one day as in really sick that my stomach really aches plus vomiting, headache and high fever. My mom gave me bioflu and zantac and let me drink it at one time, morning and then evening and then after two days i had severe abdominal pain, then back pain and i bled (not the normal blood girls get every period) and my lower back is really painful. And it's not the normal flow and then after 3 days, i got my period, the normal period we get and it lasted for 5 days. That's why i know it's the period and not what i had 2 days after i took the meds. I just wanna ask does it mean i had a miscarriage? my sister has been taking ranatadine/zantac .7aday for 7yrs....last febuary her skin went yellow her bowels were green and her waterworks were coffee coloured....which is a bad side effect of the tablets.... and the docter diognosed her with pancriatic cancer.. could the .the symtoms mimick each other .he diognosed her without taking a biopsy.the chemo doctor had a biopsy done and no cancer cells were found twice she has had a biopsy and no cancer cells found though he is treating what is wrong with her as cancer as a preventive measure he cannot say for a fact also another doctor at the same hospital and its a main cancer hospital in leeds doesnt know wether my sister has cancer,is there anyone who could shed some light on this ....thank you for any kind of help good or bad.regards. li...

I used to drink a lot of alcohol. Everytime I was drinking for too many days, there was nausea, tachycardia, feeling heart beats all over my abdomen while resting and loss of appetite, so I assumed taking zantac would cause these symptoms to go away earlier while I'll quit alcohol for a few days to make sure they will. So, two days ago I started taking the pills. I took the first one along with one bottle of whiskey, and then new symptoms started instead of the old ones to go away: I have stomach pain in certain spots. I have been experiencing a lot of heartburn in the past few months. I was quite concerned since I had a silent heart attack 2 years ago, and really had no symptoms nor any risk factors at the time .... So now I am worried every time I feel anything out of the ordinary. When I asked my doctor if it could be acid reflux, she said probably and gave me a 2 week sample of Tecta. I only took a few and stopped because I am going on holiday in a few days and don't want to experience any possible side effects. My big question is ... I have been taking zantac for 5 years as a hq blocker for mast cell diseSe. The last few days u felt funky every morning after medications and gad in creased abdominal pain. I started taking one medication at a time wait a few hours to figure out the culprit. Well today was zantac first good grief I got to work heart was funky got sweaty and tired again. I had not had it any of the other morning s. No more zantac for me calling Dr for apps tommorow. ## I am very sorry about the problems you've experienced. That's very unusual, but I can say you aren't the first person to have reported such a thing occurring from this medication, as well as others in this same drug category. I drank pur bloka to calm down but then drank zantac 75 half an hour later for heartburn. I now have a knot in my tummy and my skin has got pins and needles. Can I use these to tablets together or are these two meds not working together in my system. Please advise. It is rather urgent!

white round ## APO 025 is Ranitidine 150mgs, a generic for Zantac. ## Is this the same as Gg705 pink pill round? The reason I ask is because my health provider has substituted this for the previous Gg 705. Thank you. ## This one? Pill is round with letters DAN A22 on it. It is in a perscription bottle labeled Zantac 150's but it does not look like the others I've gotten ## The pill in description is Ranitidine (150 mg). Ranitidine is commonly used in treatment of peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
