I've had a gastric bypass 10 years ago and still have not taken an NSAID orally. Presently, I'm having trouble with arthritic knees and have tried ice treatments, elevation, tylenol, turmeric, prescription creams and need something stronger. Can I take a NSAID under my tongue? ## I can't take anti-inflammatories due to stomach issues and was wondering if there are sublingual forms of anti-inflammatories anyone has taken? Have 3 bulging discs in neck and the others are moderate bulging. Can't get appointment to see Neuroligist until next week. MRI was from 10 days ago. Narcotics do not help with my pain. Tried Ben Gay, bio freeze and capsaicin cream. No relief. Tried ice and heat. Does not help. I can't stand the pain anymore. Should I go to the Emergency room? I was removed from an antidepressant coctail 5 years ago and put on Prozac. It works for depression, but I have developed a horrible itching problem which I wonder if may be related to this drug. I have had diagnostics for everything. No rash. Just an increasing inability to tolerate any irritation to skin surface without literally months of horrible itching. I am being tortured to death. Any suggestions/help? ## How long has the itching been occurring? Do you take any other medications? Have you consulted a dermatologist? I been on amp since may 25th 2010. It took about 2 weeks to work. So needless to say, I thought it wasn't for me. However, when it kicked in I was almost running. I felt whole again. It lasted for about 10 minutes, then quickly back to the usual pain in the butt (ms). Whenever I drink coffee, I seem to get an extra boost in my walking, both in the length of time I can walk and my stability and energy. So, I guess the amp with dunkin donuts iced is a good combo for me. In this last week, though, I feel like the amp is no longer working. But I do know that one of the side effects of amp is an ms relapse. So I am wondering if this is what is happening to me. What does it do? ## hi going to sharm in egypt for 2 weeks , went last year and had the dodgy stomach. Can you take anything before you get it as a preventative? ## We spent 3-1/2 weeks in Egypt in September. After the first few days we started to have queasy stomachs and my husband had diarrhea for 3 days. Immodium didn't help him, although Pepto Bismol did calm my stomach a bit. A pharmacist in Aswan recommended Drotazide and it worked wonders. We took it 3 times a day for a couple of days to clear things up. Then once a day as a preventative measure and our stomachs were fine for the rest of the trip. Drotazide is over the counter in Egypt. Buy it and take a tablet once a day as soon as you can. Taking it, we were able to eat fresh fruit and use ice cubes with no bad consequences...

Found in my 14year old son's pocket. It's about 1/2" long, about 1/3" wide and flattish oblong in shape (not like a capsule shape). There are no numbers or letters, but on the pink side, it has a raised dots pattern along the entire side. ## Unfortunately, with no markings but those dots, I'm afraid it may be difficult to discover what this contains. That rules it out as U.S. prescription tablet, so it must be an over the counter product. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. I use vanilla extract almost daily in my ice coffee. I saw Dunkin Donuts do it which is what you get when you order vanilla ice coffee. So now I do it at home. I went in for a drug test and I assume they check for Alcohol. I'm wondering if it shows up in testing? A 1oz bottle lasts me 3-4 weeks so it's not like I'm drinking from the bottle...
