My husband has just started taking vismodegib almost a week ago. We are concerned about the side effects. So far he is doing great. Does anyone have any advice or want to share how they are doing on it? Thank you, ## This drug was just approved to treat BCC in January of 2012, so it's still very new and I don't think it's in wide use yet, since this is the first post I've read about it. I am starting a 10 month program for BCC, and I have a physically demanding job, with a lot of traveling involved. Will I still be able to work and travel while taking this medication? ## This contains the active ingredient Vismodegib and it is very new to the market, having only been approved at the end of January of this year.
