I have been using this spray for almost 2 mo. and have developed ringing in my ears(tinnitus) so I stopped it and went to an ear,nose &throat Dr. who told me to go on a low salt diet and resume the Veramyst. Haven't been able to find the tinnutis as a side effect of this drug so I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem with it ## yes, been taking for 1 week now (2 doses each nostril, 1xday) and I've just developed really bad tinnutis in both ears about 20mins after the last dosing. I started using veramyst about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Have been getting pressure headaches from froehead clear around to back of my head and neck. Also a disgusting smell in my nose and nausea. Aslo have been breaking out on diffffernt areas of my hands wrist forearm and upper arms. Needless to say I quit taking it. Calling Dr. tomorrow. has anyone else experienced this? ## Veramyst contains Fluticasone, which is a corticosteroid and they can cause some serious side effects, including those that you listed. There have actually been several posts about these issues recently. have you talked to your doctor, yet?

Our 7 YO daughter has had unexplained hives and rash for over 9 months, treating with hydroxyzine, Zantac, Singulair, and Xyzal. It had mostly cleared up and then she caught a cold so we gave her the recommended dosage of Veramyst. Within 24 hours her hives and rash were back, with fever, swollen feet and hands, and one bloody nose. The last dose was over 3 weeks ago and symptoms are diminishing, but still present (100.1 fever this morning). I thought first that I am not sane...i have developed a bad tinnitus also. I just hope it is reversible.

After using veramyst for about 3 months, I began expereincing a terrible bitter taste on my tongue. After stopping veramyst for a few days, the taste went away. A side effect of veramyst? How would I find out?
