Could you tell me where (country) where your toprol pills are mfg. ## this site does not sell nor manufacture any medications, this is an information only website. ## It may help you to know that the brand name Toprol XL is manufactured in the United States by AstraZeneca. If you are taking generics, however, then that may not apply. Generic forms of meds may be manufactured in a number of countries, but the best way to tell would be to post if there are any specific letters or numbers appearing on the pill. If it is made in the U.S. then we will be able to verify based on that information. Also, if you could include in your post where you obtained the meds from (whether it was a web site, a pharmacy, etc), that would help. ## Hi Michael, Per your email description "I got the pills ... ...

does Toprol contain blood thinners ## Toprol contains no blood thinners. Tou might be taking too much. I had to rachet up my dose but then down a little. I went from 50 mg to 100. Being too much I split the dose to half am then other 50 @ noon (with food). Eventually went to 200's, split dose, half am then other 100 mg @ noon (with food). New source of med. & prescription (different Dr.) is back to 100's. I take 1 am, other noon, think pills are by different manufacturer, so the slow rellease part of the formmulation is off a bit and I don't now what to do now. I think they release a bit faster, so I'll start with 50 am and an hour later the other 50, then 50 more after noon, etc. Oddly I took them originally for PVCs and it helped. I was in transition of lowering my... ...
