where can I purchase spirina 2.5? ## Hi vera souza, From what I could gather, Spiriva HandiHaler (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) is available by prescription-only. I did however find that the companies webpage offers a great deal of information about this product. You may want to have a look at the prescribing information (linked at the top of their page) before moving forward with a doctor's appointment: spiriva.com/ I hope this helps!

Boehringer ## I found a mint green pill with TI 01 on one side and a strange symbole on one side ## The green pill you are describing is an 18mcg Spiriva capsule. Spiriva (tiotropium) is an anticholinergic agent. It works by enlarging the airways to allow easier breathing. It comes as a capsule containing dry powder, which is inhaled through the mouth using the HandiHaler device. Spiriva is used to prevent bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways in the lungs) in people with bronchitis, emphysema, or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). You can read more about it here: I hope this helps!

I took Spiriva the 1st time for 3 weeks and gavce up on it.My doctor says I have to give it a lot more time to show it,s effectiveness.I am now on my 4th week with no obvious improvement.Any suggestions=???? ## Spiriva contains the active ingredient Tiotropium, it is a Bronchiodialotor. Most medications take at least a month to reach their full level of efficacy in your body. If it is not working after this time period, it just may not be the right medication for you and you should definitely speak to your doctor, again. As with any medication, some people get great results from them and some don't, it just depends on your body chemistry. Did your doctor tell you how long they wanted you to continue to try it? ## ofcourse it works, as we know, it is the best drug for chronic bronchi...

what drug alterative for sotalol with advair for copd ## @rick, If you're looking for alternative COPD treatment options, some medications to consider speaking with your doctor for about may include, but are not limited to the following: -Bronchodilators (short/long-acting) *Albuterol *Levalbuterol *Ipratropium *Tiotropium *Arformoterol -Corticosteroids *Fluticasone *Prednisolone *Budesonide -Methylxanthines This is just to name a few, and it may be that your doctor could end up recommending something entirely different... however if you research each and every option out there, at least you can get a better idea of what to anticipate ahead of time. Does any one else out there have suggestions from personal experience?

Took Spiriva once and when I tried to change Insurance programs, was DENIED because I took SPIRIVA once. ## Sorry to hear about your situation Jon. I can see how that would pretty frustrating since you only took it once. Have you tried asking your insurance company about the generic formulation as opposed to the brand name? Spiriva contains the active ingredient Tiotropium, so I think anything with that same active ingredient may still be a viable option with your insurance company. If not, you may just want to look into a different insurance company that isn't so uptight with their medication policies. I hope this helps!

It will be highly appreciated if you let me know the minimum daily dose and how long a patient would use Indacterol for COPD. At present it's marketed by BEXIMMCO in Bangladesh under the trade name "ONRIVA 150", instead of onriva 75. I am taking onriva 75 daily one capsule (as an inhaler), but now they are only marketing ONRIVA 150. My Doctor is now out of country to attend some medical seminar, etc. So I am unable to seek a doctor's advice. I'm also interested in knowing if TIOTROPIUM 18mcg is a substitute for Indaceterol maleate or not? Oh, and I am also taking another medicine known as Roflumilast 500 mcg for controling COPD. How long i will take Roflumilast 500 mcg for full control of COPD? I am 72 years old. Your early reply will be appreciated! Thanks and regar...
