I complained to my doctor that although I used to loose weight easily this is no longer the case. She wrote me a script for one month supply of Tenuate, saying that this would assist me. As I am a believer in proper diet (healthy food) and exercise I am frightened to use this script. How safe is it if taken for a month and are there any foods, drink or tablets that cannot be taken during this period? Let me know... ## Actually, there was a medication called Tannate 12 S, which was a suspension used to treat coughing and allergies, it contains Carbetapentane and Chlorpheniramine. Looking for current info re Nobesine. No info available on trusted websites such as the NIH website, rxlist.com, or drugs.com. Followed generic name in google search to find brand name Tenuate. Is Nobesine still available in US or is it off market? ## It looks like the generic form of Nobesine / Tenuate is in fact available (the active ingredient is Diethylpropion Hcl) - I just found the 75mg controlled release form of this product for sale on drugstore.com. You will need a prescription for it, and I think they will only dispense a max of 30 days worth. Hope this helps!

Please let me know where I can find them. ## Hi victoria, If you're referring to the diet pill IFA-Norex (Anfepramona), I believe this particular brand is only available in Mexico. So you would essentially have to get it there if you want to legally possess it w/ out a prescription. There are however American versions of this drug that you may want to look into. Other US names include: Amfepramone, diethylcathinone, diethylpropion, Anorex, Linea, Nobesine, Prefamone, Regenon, Tepanil, Tenuate You could also try asking various pharmacies if they have carry any of the medications listed above. The only thing is, you may need a valid prescription. I hope this info helps!
