Is Therasulfate commonly used for patients with anemia? ## Did you mean to say Thiosulfate? I was unable to locate any information under Therasulfate. From research I have gathered Sodium Thiosulfate is used as a compound in conjunction with Amyl Nitrite and Sodium Nitrite to provide an antidote for cyanide poisoning. Information I have retrieved states that it is not safe to take this antidote if the child has severe Anemia.
