I went to my MD who did not look at my blood pressure, temperature or heart rate; this after I gave the MD my history. I got sick suddenly on Tuesday night, with a high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting and body pain. They did not examine me. I was put on a bed and taken straight to the ER room for vitamins in drip and Buscopan. I was given Amox/K Clav 875-125MG, 1 Tab 2X day for 10 days. Also Prednisone 20mg (Deltasone) for a very bad cold that has chronically recurred for a couple weeks each time, with just about a week being clear after each recurrence. I have severe coughing, headache, an enormous amount of nasal/throat mucus (like burnt vanilla pudding, and bloody) with facial, neck and lower abdomen, lower chest and lower back pain. All that is unusual for me. The astonishing number of disclaimers and side effects is shocking and frightening; so I have the prescription sitting on my nightstand, unused after filling it today. Hi, I was diagnosed to have an acute gastritis last 2010 and still having the symptoms last month. Now, I have severe cold and I have been taking bio flu for 2 days. My concern is, is it okay for me to take bioflu? because yesterday i started to feel the pain in the upper part of my abdomen. Now, I'm planning change bioflu to biogesic (I'm from Philippines). ## Hi Jeenzey, You mentioned having a "severe" cold, too much coughing might cause discomfort or pain in the abdominal muscle. Biogesic is safe and given for fever and mild pain. It could be taken with or without food. I suggest you eat frequently or small frequent meal if you have history of acute gastritis.

Can i take Nyqil Severe Cold and Flu with CTM 4mg tablet ## Hello, Esther! How are you? You likely shouldn't mix them, since the Nyquil also contains an antihistamine, you'd basically be doubling up on it and that could result in overdose. The Nyquil contains Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, Doxylamine and Phenylephrine, so it really contains all you need, if your doctor approves of you taking it. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, nervousness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I do not take antibiotics because of severe reactions such as swollen eyelids and other issues.and also allergic to Flagyl. and possibly Levaquin. Also I believe antibiotics are over used and so far I have done without them for things everyone else takes them for such as Flu,colds and many other things. I went to a doctor complaining about a never ending flu so he recommended Betamox and other medicines after 2 days i developed a rash on my genitals. What happened? I'm just worried, b4 i had a sore urinal problem? ## First and foremost, antibiotics will not work for colds or flu's unless they happened to have originated from an existing infection; so hopefully your doctor made the right call in prescribing an antibiotic for flu symptoms. However, as far as side effects go, severe skin rashes are listed as a serious side effect of Betamox (amoxicillin) that should be reported to your doctor immediately. I have been on Vyvanse for 4 weeks and I am now tapering off. I was going to quit cold turkey , but I wke up this morning and felt like I'd been hit by a truck.
