What are the side effects of Coreg? Has anyone else here taken it? ## I have been taking Coreg for approximately 6 months. I have noticed that my vision has become quite blurry and my eyes are very dry in spite of using Gentel gel frequently. My physicians do not think it is from Coreg but they have no explanation for the change in vision and increased dry eyes. ## Coreg is used mainly to treat congestive heart failure. The most common side effects are: sleep disturbances, dizziness, nightmares and anxiety. You can read more about this medication here: That said, I did check several different resources and there is nothing listed about it causing dry eyes. Have you tried consulting an eye doctor to see if they might be able to narrow down a reason for it? Are you on any other medications?

It will change depending on your activity levels, fluid intake, overall health, sleep habits and etc. That said, if it is always staying ...

Since I stopped taking Oxybutynin, I have no more dry mouth, dry nasal passages, dry eyes and dry skin. I also have no upset stomach anymore, including constant heartburn from taking the medication. I will be using surgery to relieve my problem. No more medicine. ## Those are very common side effects of this medication. It can also cause dizziness, vomiting, drowsiness and motion sickness. ## I have also noticed few aches in the joints, etc. My main issue is that it didn't even slow down the incontinece. Isn't that why I was taking it in the first place? Hmmm ## What type of surgery are you having? Is it for incontinence or overactive bladder? ## why is oxybutin SO expensive...it is an old drug WHY?? ## Thank you for mentioning joint pain! After just a couple days on this medica...

My dad has just started taking this after a stroke and 3 TIAs. He has 15mg per day. He has taken it for 4 days but has blood in his urine and the white of his eye is very red and looks odd. Should he stop taking it or will these side effects disappear once his body gets used to it? ## hi, I'm no expert but I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes 2 medicine, to me it sounds like it might be too much medication, i know the drug thins the blood and that might be why he's pissing blood, and could be why his eyes are red as feel, from the blood being extremely thin, i am not a doctor tho so if i were you i would defenetly contact your physician and figure out exactly what the problem is just to be safe. ## Apparently, side effects involving bleeding are fairly common with this dru...

is Re-vital-eyes a prescription drug as they contains Purified benzyl alcohol? ## Benzyl alcohol? No, this would not be safe to use in the eye, it would cause a lot of problems, irritation and possibly permanent damage. Revital Eyes drops, by Ethos contain the active ingredient NAC N-Acetyl-Carnosine, a natural substance used in the eye drops. It is not actually proven to help with anything. Is there anything else I can help you with?

In 2006 I had kidney transplant and for seven years i have been prescribed prednisolone combined with my other anti rejection meds In August 2012 I was laying on the bed, and when i opened my eyes, my right eye was shadowed - the central vision had gone very suddenly Further investigations with eye clinics revealed a build up of fluid behind my right eye and this was due to long term use of the medication prednisolone. Even with draining, my vision is unlikely to get any better. Yesterday i spoke to my hospital and asked why I was never warned of these risks and i was told that very few doctors know of these particular and rare side effects and of those who do, it is rarely mentioned as they do not wish to upset the patient. So to all of the patients out there like me who's sight ha...

I was born without eyebrows. Would Latisse (eyelash extender) help grow hair there? ## I do not know about Latisse, but I do know about Revitalash and it helped fill in my lashes/brows. I would think it would work for your brows as well. Not to mention, it is guarenteed so if it doesn't you can return it...FYI ## Do you have any hair in that area, or just smooth skin? Whether or not anything will help is going to depend on whether or not you have the capability to grow eyebrows. Latisse is only approved to help with eye lashes, so I am not sure if it would do anything for hair in other areas. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including itchy eyes, dry eyes, eye irritation, and eye redness. Ref: Latisse Information ## I'm not a doctor but it doesn't sound lik...

I just switched from oxybutin to myrbetriq. The oxybutin caused dry skin (and I'm wrinkling like a prune), a host of problems from dry mouth including crumbling teeth and hypersensitivity to spices including salt. Some days the salt in cheese burns. I got mouth sores and some days I couldn't eat bread without choking. I knew my eyes were dry - I'm just reading here that my recent vision problems were more fallout. And the horrendous leg cramps. The question is, how soon can I hope to see a difference? Will it reverse? ## Hello, Vric! How are you? Yes, it should reverse, but it may take a few weeks from the time you stopped taking it. However, you should be aware that Myrbetriq carries the risk of causing similar side effects, as reported by the FDA, so you may still experien...

This is day 3 of me taking Hysingla 20mg after taking Norco 10/325mg three to four times a day. So far I've noticed some wacky side effects. The pill seems to kick in at around 8hrs, and I can't keep my eyes open, I get a rush of anxiety and nausea. I've taken EVERY other ER opiate in the world and none of them did this to me. I do notice that it has lessened my extreme pain already and I have taken a few norcos on top of it thru out the day, but the 8hr mark seems to be like a different world kicking in. Has anyone been on this for awhile, went thru these side effects and then came out the other end actually liking this med? I can find NOTHING on the internet regarding much experience or reviews out there on people who are taking this med. I've woken up in the middle of...

is there a substitute for preperation H that is milder? ## Apparently there are two versions of Preparation H. One which is supposed to be more effective than the other in retrospect to the active ingredients. There is an American version and a Canadian version which is considered the more effective cream. The most sought out difference between the two is that the American version left out one of the main ingredients Bio-Dyne; an ingredient used to further remove any bags from under the eyes. A lot of customer reviews state that it is considered a must-have once you have tried the Canadian version. Enbrel induced- Optic Neuritis-Hi everyone, I am 29 years old and took Enbrel for 2 1/2 year (from 2010-2013). I had to discontinue use because I developed optic neuritis. IN the past 15 months my vision has worsened. My latest eye scan showed that I have lost 25% vision in my right eye and 10% vision in my left, IN 1 YEAR, due to the Enbrel induced ON. Please get your eyes checked if you are taking a biologic!!! Most biologics are associated with ON. Symptoms start as dull to sharp eye pain, vision changes, and head aches. Very important!!! The vision loss I have experienced in permanent but if you catch it early on it can be reversible. -------Much Love-----Elisabeth ## Hi, I am 52 years old, have had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 12 yrs old. These pharmaceutical companies have to be held accountable. Not only do I believe they are trying to help you only just a smidget, I believe they are more about making medicine to hook you and make it very difficult to get off of them! I started Lexapro 20 mg in 2010 for anxiety. After reading the many reviews, I am convinced all my troubles that have developed since, are Lexapro related, NO DOUBT! I am weening off as I speak, I am down to 10 mg. and can already feel a difference. I'm not going to write a story, but here goes the symptoms I had. Body and head 'zaps' mostly at night. EXTREME sweating. Cottonmouth and feeling thirsty 24/7 and never being able to quench it. My eyeballs dried up and I would sometimes wake up with my eyes crusted shut, eye doctor told me he never...
