What are the effects of going off this drug (i.e. diarrhea, sweating/chills)? ## Ralivia ER contains a time released formulation of Tramadol and yes, it you have been taking it for a long time, it can cause some withdrawal effects, if you suddenly stop, just like any other medication would. How much have you been taking and for how long? It may be best to discuss it with your doctor and do a slow taper, to prevent the worst of the withdrawals.
