Procanbid Procainamide

Procainamide (PCA) is a medication of the antiarrhythmic class used for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. It is classified by the Vaughan Williams classification system as class Ia; thus it is a sodium channel blocker of cardiomyocytes. I suffered severe physical damage from the aforementioned drug. Has anyone else had such an experience? There was nothing in my physician's PDR that indicated procanbid could have been responsible for what happened to me.
