What is ProAir HFA (albuterol sulfate) used for? ## Albuterol inhalers are used to respiratory problems, such as asthma, and COPD. It helps widen the airways to make breathing easier. Its typical side effects may include dizziness, dry mouth, headache, elevated heart rate, and elevated blood pressure. ## Has anyone noticed a difference between ProAir name brand & Albuterol generic both made by Teva? The generic doesn't seem to work as well for me.

Facial/head and body itch, swelling in my calves and ankles...The symptoms have been persistent, and I haven't used the medication in a couple days. The symptoms are still present. I was using the medication as needed...(maybe up to 3 times a day or more). Would like to know at what stage does the symptoms dissipate. ## How long were you taking it and how long have been off of it, now? Has there been any change? It has been known to cause such symptoms as side effects in some people that take it, according to FDA reports. However, it is always best to have such symptoms checked out, to be safe. Are you on any other medications?

proair Hfa ? causing swollen lips. How long does drug remain in your system. ## Hello, Maureen! How are you? How long had you been using it, when the reaction occurred? That would be a factor in how long it may last. And any time you have a severe allergic reaction like this, it is very important to see a doctor, because it may require medical treatment. You may need antihistamines and a steroid to bring the swelling down.

I finally have an appointment with a R, Symbicort (2xs a day) heumatolgist on 8/21, my present doctor will not renew my prednisone because I have already had two sets of 3x3, 2x3, etc. I only need 8 pills. I do not understand. Two weeks ago I had a horrible experience. I had never experienced such pain and I could not move. It took me over an hour to get out of bed. I could not move without awful pain. I am taking Citalopram HBR (20mgs) for depression; Zolpidem Tartrate(5mgs) for insomnia, Lisinopril (20mgs 2 pils once a day) for my blood pressure, Symbicort for my COPD, Proair HFA as needed. The Prednisone (10mgs), and Hydrocodone 5-325, 2 pills ever 7 hours). I had an episode in 2000 with my RA and have been in remission since then. Has anyone had stomach problems, feeling like the flu or gas pains after taking this medication? ## I have experienced gas and gas pains after using both Albuterol and Proair HFA. What does this mean?

I had a false positive for amphetimine. I take tegretol, lithium, lamictyl, neurontin, geodon. wellbutrin, viibryd, zocor, synthroid, backlofin, klonipin. What I really want to know is which medication or combo of medications listed could make me come up with a false positive. ## I take 800- 1200 mg daily of tegretol. I recently had to do a pre access drug test for work and tested positive for methamphetamine.
