I've been taking linzess for a week and am having a lot of pain down low in my stomach. I had to take two aspirins to at least get some sleep one night. It also hurts when I urinate. I have to take it in the afternoon because I work during the day. It has been relieving me quite well. I'm just worried about having so much pain to where I moan and groan when I walk and I can't continue any kind of work out. Does anyone have a lot of gas with linzess? Sometimes it won't stop. If so, what helps you with this problem? ## Hi Jo, sorry to hear about your discomfort with Linzess. What mg are you taking? If on the 190 you may need to go to 145. I took Linzess for years and it was great. Took at bedtime and went 1st thing in morning. I will say you need to eat healthy diet. I wou...

I was prescribed Movantik a week ago with the enclosed instructions suggesting that I take 1 tablet in the morning and eat nothing for an hour, which I've haven't done yet because I must have coffee immediately upon waking or otherwise remain nauseous until I do. My question is this: Can I take Movantik after drinking a cup of coffee with cream? Not knowing whether that's ok I've taken the med at bedtime instead for several days now, which A) causes cramps throughout the night + B) was not very effective, i.e. did not produce a BM after I woke up, but I suggesting to me that it likely works better while one is awake and more active after dosing. I'm reluctant to do so however, until I have this question answered. ## Without offering medical advice, all I can say is t...

I just started taking phentermine 3 days ago, and so far am feeling great. I have some of the side effects, a little anxiety and headaches, but that could be from cutting the coffee out cold turkey. Definitely have a dry mouth, but so far taking the prozac and phentermine together aren't causing anything ugly. Anyone else taking prozac with phentermine? I read online that it is known as a cocktail called phen-pro, and can increase how well phentermine works. I say COOL to that! ## I'm on prozac right now and i was wondering if i can take these two together. And from what i heard phentermine is a prescription drug only so what qualifies a person to get a prescription? ## I take 20mg Prozac, 15mg Aderall IR, 37.5 Phentermine in the morning then again 15mg aderall and 35mg Phendime...

How do I dispose of Voltaren gel if I do not have used coffee grounds or kitty litter? Walgreens was not helpful with this question... ## If you take it in to them, they should be able to dispose of it for you. I've never known a pharmacy to refuse doing so. Alternatively, since this is not something that is commonly abused, the NIH does state that you could just leave it in it's own sealed container and throw it in with your regular trash. Another option is to ask a local coffee place if they would mind giving you some used grounds that you can use to get rid of it. Is this the only medication you have to dispose of?

I usually have one cup of coffee with breakfast and I don't take this medication till one hour later. I've only been taking it for two days and had no problem. So is it okay to continue having my morning cup of coffee? ## There isn't usually any problem. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. Has your doctor, or pharmacist told you not to enjoy coffee, while taking it? Are you on any other medications?

im on ethrogen tablets only started a week ago i take 2 on a morning with a black coffe and one half an hour before i eat Am i doing this right ? Need help and advice how to use theses properly and when will i start to notice a diffrence ## We've had several posts about this and I can't find anything listed under this name. I can only guess that it is a product that contains Ephedrine and, if that is the case, you should be aware of the dangers of it. It works as a stimulant and it can create cardiac risks, because it can elevate blood pressure and heart rate. Does anyone else have information on this product?

Been on this for a month and heart is still racing at times. Sometimes it's ok, on the slow side, but like tonight it's 105 beats per minute. This happens almost every day at some time during the day. ## What is your normal heart rate? What are you doing that has been causing it to go up, if anything? Have you been smoking, taking in caffeine, or etc? Even if you are on a medication, there are certain times your heart rate will still go up, whether or not it's a problem depends on why it is occurring. If you've been active, it's going to elevate your heart rate, which is actually what you want to occur at such times. If you've been drinking caffeinated coffee, or sodas, it is going to cause your heart rate to elevate.

although I do not eat anything for at least 30 minutes before taking the medication, I do drink a few cups of coffee. Is this okay? Also, the Linzess worked the first day I took it and then 2 days later but has not worked for the last 7 days. Any ideas why? ## Hello, Troubled! How are you? No, you shouldn't drink coffee, either. It is a small light orange/peach round pill with a score on one side and a coffee cup looking imprint with what looks like a spoon or something in it. ## As far as I'm aware, this logo is used on over the counter products. The company uses it on all of the ones they manufacture, so I don't know which specific one this is, but many of them seem to be supplements, rather than medications. The logo you're looking at is actually meant to be a mortar and pestle, the mortar is a bowl used to hold substances intended to be crushed and the pestle is used to crush them and mix them. Does anyone recognize this pill and know what it is? ## I have the same on my pills Azathioprine 50mg made by Co Pharma

what is it? - cytochrome pathway cp-450; etc ## Hello, David! How are you? They are a superfamily of proteins which contain a heme cofactor, so they are hemoproteins. They use various large and small molecules in substrates of enzymatic reactions. Human CYPs are primarily membrane associated proteins that are located in the inner membrane of mitochondria or in the endoplasmic reticulum. They are the major enzymes involved in drug metabolism, they actually account for about 75% of it. Most drugs undergo deactivation from CYPs, either directly or through excretion from the body. Some drugs can increase or decrease their activity. This could cause you not to absorb enough of any given medication or to absorb too much of it. A good example to use is the antiseizure medication Phenytoin, sin...
