I had taken Tedral for years beginning as a child and into my adult years until taken off the market. Cataracts developed in both of my eyes while I was in my 30's and 40's leading to surgery. I now have lens implants in both of my eyes. The opthamologist is now measuring my eyes for Glaucoma. Currently I am taking Primatene mist tablets which does have the drug ephedrine as one of its ingredients. No one is telling me whether these drugs are responsible for my eye situation. My insurance dropped my prescription coverage recently and now I cant afford my inhalers. $100 per inhaler and I go through an inhaler at least once a week. I've been having my usual severe asthma, can hardly breathe, chest pain, tightness, cough, and generally think im slowly suffocating to death. Primatene tablets don't do anything! I'm dying here, please does anyone have any suggestions, other than go to the ER.. I can't afford that either but it is a last resort. It would be very difficult for me to get to the er too. I found an unmarked glass prescription bottle filled with small round yellow pills. One side has a "P" imprint, the other side is just scored. Ive searched and am not finding it anywhere!! Help please!! ## Hello, Dee! How are you? If it was a glass bottle, then these are most likely old pills, because glass is no longer used. I've been sitting here crying because the pharmacist just told me that AsthmaNefrin was taken off the market. I look on the internet and it's been recalled by the FDA because it has caused chest pain and has many complaints. This decision by the FDA will kill people like me because I get a paradoxical reaction to Albuterol and Levalbuterol. They work completely different. Different drug. If I go to the emergency because I can't breathe, they save me with ephinephrine, the same drug that AsthmaNefrin is. And look in any drug book, Albuterol and Levalbuterol has worse side-effects than Epinephrine. I have to have my rescue inhaler with me everyday. The Primatene tablets are horrible, causing extreme anxiety and don't mix with my antidepressant. I was on cortisone for years...

Can primatene tablets cause a false positive for methamphetamine on a hair follicle test? ## How long does it take primatene tablets to leave your system? I need to know this for a drug screen in 3 days. ## I keep failing UA for benzos at Suboxone clinic but all I take is Trazodone and Primatene pills. Does anyone have any idea why benzos show up? Can two people metabolize the same drug as two different things? Im getting kick out of Suboxone clinic and don't want to do back to opiates...someone please help a brother out..thx for reading

I have applied for a job and they did a hair folicle test. I tested positive for cocaine, but have never used cocaine. I do take Primatene Tablets for my asthma. It has Collodial silicon dioxide, crospovidon, D&C Yellow no. 10 aluminum lake, FD&C yellow no. 6 aluminum lake, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, providone. It also states on the package Ephedrine HCI 12.5mg / Guaifenesin 200mg.
