I am trying to find the name of a prenatal vitamin I took during my first pregnancy. It was a brown oval softgel and I thought it smelled like chocolate (not taste). It may have had an imprint in white but I am not 100% sure. It was expensive, about $1 a pill per month. my daughter was prescibed these for prenatal vitamins, but they don't look or taste like vitamins. On the pill itself it says ethex on one side and on the other it says 317. ## I would like the names of all the prescribed prenatal vitamins. ## Well, you aren't supposed to taste them. LOL Personally, I'd not want to, since most vitamins won't taste very good. . The tablet with the ETHEX 317 marking is, indeed, a prenatal vitamin called Natalcare RX, it is prescribed to pregnant women to help ensure they have the proper amount of nutrients for both them, and the baby. white oblong tablet. 1 side says ethex the other says 216, if i take a meal and then the tablet, whitin a min i star vomiting everything i ate. ## I located the pill in description to be a Prenatal Multivitamin by the name of Prenatal RX 1. Prenatal multivitamins help provide the necessary vitamin and minerals plus additional elements to support a healthy pregnancy. That said, I'm not sure as to why it would invoke vomiting. I would suggest asking your local pharmacist if it is in fact a prescription. Most vitamins are not prescription-based to my knowledge, but maybe these pills in particular have something you could be allergic to.
