I tried this drug for about five days and I have not seen any difference in my hunger for FOOD ugh. I was just wondering if anyone has had success with this. I used to take adapex and it made me nervous and very short tempered. However it help with weight loss. I feel no side effects with Prelu-2 TR and am wondering if they put the wrong pills in my bottle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ## What are the markings on them? This contains the active ingredient Phendimetrazine, which is used to suppress appetite, however, it may take longer than 5 days to work. Most medications require 4 to 6 weeks to reach their full effect in the body.

Scientists tinkered with the chemical formula to create phendimetrazine and it's quite close, and really effective if you take the right dose. 35mg. pills should do the trick. ## Yes, this brand name is no longer available, but there are some generics available, so your doctor should be able to prescribe something equivalent. Does anyone still make preluden or is there a comparable drug? I took this years ago and lost 100 pounds. I have gained 50 back because I'm post menopausal. It's worth noting that all phendimetrazine drugs are very rarely prescribed as they have been found to have highly addictive nature and has an extremely high abuse rate. I hope this helps.

Can I find Preludin in progressive mexico? ## Hi Michelle, Based on my research, Preludin (phenmetrazine) was actually discontinued a long time ago because of its wide spread abuse. I don't know if there's anything else like it on the market in Mexico, but you could always contact the manufacturer (Boehringer Ingelheim) directly for more specific details involving the availability of something similar. Medications like Phentermine are also in the same drug class as Preludin (known as phenethylamine). If you're facing any challenges with your weight, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to find a doctor who would prescribe it here in the US.
