I was prescribed the above medication for pink eye. I was wondering if I could use this for an ear infection that is caused by clogging of my ear canal. I have tried using the peroxide treatment to no avail. It is now beginning to hurt and swell. I have also taken some aspirin for the imflamation and was consider getting some over the counter nasal decongestant. ## Have you consulted a doctor? While antibiotics are used to treat infections, they aren't going to solve the origination of the problem, which is the clogging of your ear canal. If it didn't respond to peroxide, then your doctor is going to need to clean the ear out for you to remove the obstruction.

It is an eye drop and was wondering what it is used to treat since it was prescribed for an ear infection. ## I wondered if you could tell me what the recommended dosage is for this drug. It was prescribed to me in July and I didn't keep the insert from the box that had the dosage. I have the same condition again and need to know how much to use.
