I'm allergic to sulfa medications. I have an intestinal parasite. Doctor wants to treat with paromomycin. I need to know if this is sulfa-based? ## Hello, Alicia! How are you? Generally, being allergic to one raises the chance that you may be allergic to others. ## Does this contain Sulfa? ## this was prescribed for diarrhea when I was in Punta Cana. I was only on it for a few days, no side effects.
