Was just put on Tri-Lo Sprintec after being on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 10 years... It says you have the option of a Sunday start date, which you start the first Sunday after you start your period unless you start your period on Sunday - in which case you take it the same day. I started my period on Sunday, but didn't pick up my prescription until Tuesday. Can I still start this coming Sunday, or do I now have to wait a month? ## Well, really if you were just switching from one prescription to another, you shouldn't have had any gap in taking it, you should have just continued with the new pill in place of the old one. Hi my dr gave me meds to start my period because I ha surgery to have one of my Fallopian tubes removed and cysts removed and hadn't had a period since. Once I started bleeding I started taking ortho tri cyclen lo and that started 2 an a half weeks of heavy bleeding. So he switched me to lo estrin I've been on it for two weeks and I'm bleeding through 2 pads during the day and one at night I stopped the pill on my own because I got scared of all the bleeding. The problem is the bleeding hasn't stopped its actually getting worse. It's the weekend so I can't go to my dr till tomorrow at the earliest just wondering if anyone thinks I should do a catch up and go ahead and take the two pills I didn't take. One side has a "P" Other side has a "O-M" or "W-O" Small round pink pill ## My finding does not pose an exact match to your description, but represents the closest match I could find using the imprint "P O-M" (no results came up with O-W). Hi! I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen/Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for about 5 months now and I've always gotten my period on the fourth placebo pill day. I am meticulous about taking my pill everyday at 6:45AM (I even set my alarm). I have never missed a pill. My boyfriend and I have been having sex for two months now and we switch between using condoms and just pulling out. I'm on my fourth placebo pill now and I still haven't gotten my period. I have been stressed this week due to anxiety and talk with my boyfriend about taking a pregnancy test just to be sure we're fine earlier in the week.
