I just got a script for 20 mg today. The pill was white. My old ones that I have left are yellow. Are they the sime thing. It makes me nervous. Wouldnt they let people know if they changed the color? ## I had the same concern which is how I found your post. Mine are now white too. ## I can't tell you anything from just the colors, but I can tell you that the colors don't actually mean anything, this is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Nadolol is a non-selective Beta-Blocker, used in the treatment of high blood pressure, chest pain and migraine headaches. Common side effects may include: nausea, fatigue, brachycardia and bronchospasms. Does anyone have any incite on which manufacturer makes the most effective and best quality nadolol? For years I took yellow nadolol manufactured by Cipla. This month the pharmacy dispensed blue nadolol manufactured by Bayshore instead. Is there an authorized generic more similar to the Brand Corgard? ## Hello, Pat! How are you doing? Is the new one you've received working for you? There really isn't any specific one that can be said to be the best, since it can vary from person to person, the one that works well for you, might not work as well for someone else. The only thing you can really do is try it, and see. Nadolol may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, increased urination, and hypotension. Are you on any other medications?

I'm sorry about the sudden price jump. This has been happening with increasing regularity, but I am not sure why. I was prescribed an antibiotic recently that had been $4 for years, which suddenly jumped to over $50 for just 10 capsules. Learn more Nadolol details here. The only suggestion I can really make is that you contact your doctor and see if they will prescribe a cheaper alternative for you. I've had severe weight gain after being on nadolol for 2 years without success in diet plans. Dr switched me to diltizem CD 120 mg at bedtime. My heart rate was up to 100-110 today (I just started it last night and stopped the nadolol). How long does it take for it to have a full effect on my system? A few days or weeks? How long before I should tell my Dr to up the dose? Thank you. ## It may take about 4 to 5 weeks for it to reach its full level of efficacy in your body, and things are likely more severe, due to stopping the other medication and switching to the new one. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Diltiazem as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. How are you feeling, now? Has there been any change? ## I was on it durin...

are they going to stop production of nadolol ## I haven't come across any specific details stating whether or not Nadolol or any of its brand names are going to be discontinued. Did you hear this news from your local pharmacist? I would probably recommend contacting the manufacturer directly if you are wondering whether or not they are going to continue making that drug. This type of information is usually best taken from the source itself. In the meantime though, it may be a good idea to talk to your doctor about other similar alternatives. I hope this helps!

nadolol 40 mg can it be split ## Hi bernie, Usually if there is a score line (divid) embedded into the tablet, it means the manufacturer purposely made it so patients could easily cut it in half. And after looking at several images of Nadolol 40mg tabs on the internet, it appears that nearly all of them do have a score line. So in that aspect I don't see why you wouldn't be able to split it in half, provided that it's ok with your doctor. I hope this helps!

Hi, I've been having migraines everyday of the week. the most severe migraines generally occur 2x a week or so. My neurologist has tried me on Tramadol, Nadolol, Fioricet, Fiorilan, Propranolol, Topamax, Excedrine, Ibuprophen, Aceteminophen, you name it! Nothing seems to knock it out unless I go into a deep sleep (I'm talking 7 hours+) because a 3-hour nap won't knock it out. I need to know of any pain doctors in the manalapan/freehold/morganville/old bridge (central jersey area) that are willing to understand where my pain is coming from. The only thing that I've tried before that has knocked it out is oxycodone. I hear it's very addictive, but I'm not a drug addict I just need to knock out this pain! If anyone could pleaseeee help me with my situation. My neuro...
