I've been taking MT (for sinus tachycardia) 25mg twice a day for a month now and I've been feeling weak some days. I was told that vitamins can help me get my energy back. With that said, is it safe to do so? The vits contain Calcium 100mg, Magnesium 100mg & Potassium 15mg. ## There are no problems listed between using the vitamins with the Metoprolol, but you should check with your doctor first. Magnesium and Potassium can both have an effect on your heart and blood pressure, if they are too low, or too high, which means that in your case, a careful balance must be maintained. I am on Metoprolol Tartrate 25mg twice daily for the past month and I seem to be feeling weak on some days. It is prescribed to me for sinus tachycardia.
