I am on day 4 of this 10 day antibiotic and have started noticing symptoms of a yeast infection. Ok so i used tho medication and got what i would like to think is a yeast infection. Thick white skimpy discharge but without the smell or itch. And i went to my GYN and was testednegative for everything but e coli wwhich was why i took it. But now there is this discjarge so i am now using an over the counter 3 day monistat to hopefully clear the symptoms and side effects of the medication. This is used to treat vaginal yeast / fungal infections. Speaking from my wife's experience, she was on a treatment of Monistat 7 (Miconazole) during her menstrual cycle before, and she said that instead of taking the regular 7 day course, she had to take it for 10 days to help.
