prescribed nasal irrigation with betamethasone/fluc plus meropenem ## Hello, Fritz! How are you? The Betamethasone is a steroid and when used in this manner, it's usually to help reduce inflammation and the Meropenem is a broad spectrum antibiotic. Learn more Betamethasone details here. Learn more Meropenem details here. Using it for nasal irrigation usually keeps the side effects minimal, but you experience some nasal irritation and if some trickles down your throat, it can taste quite awful. Are there any questions or concerns?

I lost a piece of paper that said what I'm allergic to, I think it's an antibiotic that starts with an M. It it gives me a rash, my back starts to feel itchy, I had to take it for a blood infection. ## Hi igor, Antibiotics starting with "M" include: Meropenem, Mezlocillin, Meticillin, Moxifloxacin, Mafenide, and Minocycline. Do any of these names ring a bell? I'm sure there may be others out there, but this is what I could gather at the moment. I hope it helps! ## Metronidazole. Also interacts with propyline glycol, which is in liquid for e-cigarettes.
