I have a patient on a trial with it, and now she has hypercalcemia. Could this be due to the med or do I have to investigate other causes. I cannot tell her or her specialist, otherwise I risk wrecking the double blinding. But doing nothing may delay diagnosis of something ominous. any advice? ## I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find this as a side effect by either the FDA, or the manufacturer. The typical ones are listed as possibly including headache, back ache, and fatigue. Is the patient on any other medications?

I have some control using hydroxyurea although the side effects depress all blood cell ...
