This is a pain reliever coupled with an anti-emetic, to help prevent the nausea or vomiting that may result from taking it. What is the status of Mepergan Fortis? Several local pharmacies have no more in stock, say it is on backorder.

I need to know if Meperidine, Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are in the same family? Do they show up on drug screen the same? ## Meperidine is just a trade name for Demerol, in pill form, so yes, it, Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are all narcotics, opiates, and they will all show up as such on a drug screen. ## mepergan fortis is a combination of meperidine (demerol) and phenergan (anti-nausea) made by wyeth as such it is not an opiate because demerol is made from piperidine which is an extract of the pepper plant but i believe it still shows up as an opiate ## demerol is most definitely an opiate.
