I just took a Diurex and a mobic within minutes of each other...is this a problem? ## Diurex actually contains Pamabrom, which is claimed to be a diuretic to help with bloating. Mobic contains the active ingredient Meloxicam and is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Unfortunately, since Diurex is actually an over the counter supplement and not a prescription medication, its interactions with prescription medications has not been studied, nor has its side effects. It is also used to treat headaches, general back pain, and certain joint pains like arthritis. Coupled with Acetaminophen - a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) - this can be used to help manage more moderate to severe levels of pain. It's doesn't have to to be used specifically for back pain, but this is just one of the highlighted uses of this medication. How well does this work for extreme back pain and bulging discs? ## Magnesium Salicylate is an analgesic and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is commonly used to treat various painful conditions. However, there is really no way to say whether or not it will be effective for any given person that is taking it. I remember Percogesic as the orange pill Acetaminophen, The Percogesic I purchased today is a white caplet with Magnesium salicylate tetahydrate 580 ms (NSAID). As I remember the orange Percogesic in not an NSAID. Someone please tell me why the change and can I still get the orange pill. I have taken the orange Percogesic for 40 yrs and this is the only pill that would take my head ache away. Any information would help.
