Before I started taking Humira I read so many messages about issues with the drug. I suspect the people who are unhappy are far more likely to post comments than those who are happy. I'm going to reverse that trend. 66 y/o diagnosed with UC in September 2013. Initial therapy with Lialda was very effective. A year later following a flare I was prescribed Uceris to get back into remission. It too was effective. Yet another year later and another flare neither of these drugs did the job. Tried Rowasa to no avail and started a Prednisone taper. My doctor suggested Humira and I resisted strongly having read all of the negative blogs. Finally I threw in the towel and said let's do it....I was miserable. Less then two weeks into therapy after the first four injections and I am 90% to r...

I never had any issues with Asacol but ever since Asacol was put into a capsule, first the purple capsule and now the smaller pills in a clear capsule, which is now called Delzicol, I get severe indigestion, gas, have trouble sleeping, and generally don't feel well. Can this be due to the capsule? Before they changed to the 4 smaller pills in the capsule I had started removing the larger pill from the purple capsule and Immediately started feeling better. I recently started with the newer version of 4 smaller pills in a capsul and the symptoms have returned. Do others have issues with the capsule? Is there another medicine for UC that isn't in a capsule? ## Still having issues. Switched to Lialda because side effects from Delzicol, severe reflux, burning in the throat, probably ...
