i am about to switch from Avaine 28 to microgestin Fe 1/20 . I really like the Avaine and have gotten used to it but no longer have insurance and are able to get the BC from planned parenthood. Im wondering if this will be a good replacement and what should i expect from switching? ## Well, the Microgestin contains Norethindrone and Ethinyl Estradiol, where in place of the former the Aviane contained Levonorgestrel. They work the same, but it really depends on your body and how it reacts to these specific hormones. In my case, I had a lot of problems with ones that contained Norethindrone, I experienced a lot more breakthrough bleeding, acne and vaginal dryness. It contains 30mcgs of Ethinyl Estradiol and 0.15mgs of Levonorgestrel. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I do not think that the pink pill is a birth control pill. I have the exact one from my husband who is taking heavy med's for cancer from pain med's to anti nauseates. He does not take birth control pills. lol. I found it in my jacket pocket and thought i must have put it in my pocket for him when we went out. Still do not know what it is though. I also think the 6 or 9 could be a "b".

A small round pink/light red pill with an italic capital S on one side and the number 62 on the other side. The pill is a chalky white on the inside and the coating scratches away. I'm thinking it may be some sort of painkiller? ## It is not listed in any of our prescription drug resources. While there is a chance that it is a very new tablet, it makes me suspect that it may be something available over the counter. There is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication.
