Why is the availability of leflunomide nonexistant? No pharmacy in my area (southern Nevada) has been able to supply it to me since February 2011. ## What happened to leflunomide? It is not available anywhere. ## When I contacted the manufacturer of both Arava and Leflunomide I was told that the patent on Arava had expired. If some other company picks up the formula Leflunomide will be manufactured again otherwise only Arava will be available. Thus the cost for a 90 day supply goes from around 200 dollars to around 1600, Pretty tough when one is in the donut hole but makes a little too much to qualify for payment assistance. I have Lupus/RA. I noticed before even starting this drug I was waking up at night with barely any blood flow in my extremities. My arms and fingers would be completely dead. I have been taking the drug about two weeks. This past week my arms, fingers, feet and toes have been numb and tingling. I feel like there is no blood in them at all. This week i have also been getting unusual headaches and now blurred vision. Shortly after my period stopped i started bleeding again and been spotting constantly since. I am much more tired then usual, to the point where it hurts to be awake at unusual times. When you have auto immune disease you always feel bad. i was using tramadol(37.5) but i asked my doc to' up it 'and then he prescribed 50 mg. i have tried this new tablet but i am getting terrible headaches.i usually have to take 4 tylenols before the headache goes away. i am also using leflunomide for pain also. should i break the new tramadol n try to get an average of more than 37.5? ## Headaches are a normal side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and constipation. I'm suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, and as a result, have been taking Lefra 20mg since 2007. Now that I want to have the option to get pregnant, I need to know if it's safe to do so while on this medication? I have no idea where this pill came from. ## This is Cetirizine HCl, in other words, generic Zyrtec. I just bought a bottle of these at my local CVS pharmacy and they have 351 on one side and RDY on the other. ## This may be : Leflunomide 10 mg. ## RDY 351 is definitely certrizine, a generic of zyrtec. Its antihistamine.

My mom is 60 year old, hypertensive, diabetic, ra on treatment. She's been on Lefra for rheumatoid arthritis for more than 10 years. She has developed subcutaneous nodules followed by ischemia of the skin above in both the thigh on lateral aspect, now spreading to posterior side and right breast. She is also experiencing severe pain that's not even controlled with oral morphine tablets. A deep biopsy of skin is showing only necrotic tissue, not other pathology. The dermatologist, rheumatologist, oncologist, physician, and plastic surgeon, are not able to daignose the condition.
