This drug works. I had no side effects. I took this expensive medication for 3 months. The name of the drug is Mavyret. Has anyone else had a positive experience with it? ## I see that the FDA approved Mavyret (Glecaprevir + Pibrentasvir) for use in treating hepatitis C on August 3rd, 2017. So it hasn't been on the market for very long relative to other hepatitis C treatment options such as Harvoni (Ledipasvir + Sofosbuvir). This must be why there aren't many reviews yet. Interestingly enough, Mavyret was specifically approved to treat adults with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotypes 1-6 without cirrhosis (liver disease) or with mild cirrhosis. Shortly after treatment with harvoni I noticed a clear mucous leaking from my but ## I also have had a clear slimy mucous leaking from my butt after a 12 week treatment with Harvoni It has changed to now having leakage of liquid stool and pooping out mucous strings with no BM I have been to several doctors with no answer but I am scheduled for tests of nerve damage in anal sphincter. ## From what I've read, diarrhea is reported to be one of the most common side effects of Harvoni (ledipasvir + sofosbuvir). However this is the first time I heard about 'clear mucous' being an issue. When it comes to any unusual symptoms I would encourage you to report them to the FDA via their MedWatch program, which can be reached at: fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch Hopefully it'll get better in ...
