I have been using Simbrinza and Latanoprost for the past year. The pressure has been good but for the past month my eyes have become red and irritated and they seem to be getting worse no matter what I do. I think it might be one of the drops. ## Hi Connie, Sorry to hear about your situation. From what I could gather, both medications list "redness of the eyes & irritation" as either rare side effects or allergic reactions to Simbrinza and Latanoprost. So I'm not sure how you would go about determining which one of those medications could be at fault. My first suggestion would be to contact your doctor about this as soon as possible in order to decide whether it's safe for you to continue using or if your doctor has any other recommendations moving forward. Taking 120 mg per 24 hrs diltiazem with 0.1mg clonidine transdermal. Expected some decrease in heart rate, but experienced a SEVERE attack with EXTREME elevation in heart rate when prescribed tamsulosin for urination control. No other medications except latanoprost. Taking the diltiazem for BP & HR surges that it appears to control well. Pre-existing aortic valve problem. ## PDR Net does list warnings regarding taking Tamsulosin with most blood pressure medications, since it can potentiate the hypertensive effects, and if your blood pressure drops low, then your heart has to work harder, so your heart rate usually goes up. Thus, the combo might not be right for you. Have you informed your doctor? ## Yes! Must have taken bp and/or hr very low to go into panic mode.

Do other glaucoma patients run out of Lumigan much quicker than their other eye drops? ## Hello people. notice I am new to the privileges of using this Interweb. More to the point, I am also new to the awareness of and treatments for my "inherent wide-angle Glaucoma". The (use before bedtime eye-drops Latanoprost) was RX dispensed in a teensy container. One drop in each eye daily and ALWAYS empties 5-7 days after it is opened. This container ALWAYS shows 1-2 more applications remaining in the container which; so far, I can't get out. This container is $101.93. The label "claims" to hold 29 days of doses. This IS mathematically impossible by my understanding. This fact being ALSO supported by several lucid and perplexed medical professionals. I am relieved to read ano...
